Wow! Looking absolutely stunning  nothing beats healthy sun grown outdoor flower! That cannalicious looks incredible  what’s the genetic behind that beauty? I bet that’s going to be sensational, and tasting delicious :yum: keep up the stellar grow!

Thanks! Can’t wait to grow in the sun again. The veg growth is just fantastic. I have reignited my lust for indoor LED flower but the yields off of outdoor plants is unbeatable

Being new to growing, what are the big differences between led grown and outdoor?

Plants grow differently in different environments. The light spectrum and intensity are a massive part of the plants environment and it’s not a more = better scenario. It’s a different environment = different growth. Aside from outdoor plants getting dusty and covered in tree pollen, etc. I have noticed that the same clone grown outdoor will have leafier flowers to an extent, compared to the same clone in my indoor LED environment. Of course the soils indoor vs outdoor are completely different. Indoor I add dry organic ammendments to some light bagged soil. Outdoor they usually go right in the ground which is rich sandy loam on top of sand. Indoor plants are pampered indoor pets and outdoor plants (the way I grow them) are a chained up dog without a dog house sitting in the backyard. Just more abuse.

Interesting, I am growing in a greenhouse so don’t get the pollen or weather abuse. My biggest concern is getting too hot, which I’m working on. I’m getting a new pole barn later in the summer and hope to have a tent or two in there, so will be interesting to see the differences.

I’d be interested to see as well. I’ve noticed greenhouse with the higher temps and humidity the flowers have a bit more spongy-ness to them. I do also notice a subtle change in smell from indoor-outdoor-greenhouse. So many variables

I have noticed this too. Seems like the plants stretch a little more when in the hoop. Also seems to have different taste/ terp profiles when grown in the hoop. I assume its the heat burning some off? Can be very subtle.

I agree the outdoor/greenhouse smell and flavor just seems to be lacking something compared to indoor. I would assume heat has a big factor as well

I believe I will turn this summer into some S1 projects. I have some very nice clones that I plan to back up in S1 seed form. Along the way some hybrids will be made. The current list of clones are as follows:

Blueberry Super Silver Haze (in progress)
Chocolatina
Snake Venom
Pineapple Express
Hillbilly Skunk (this might be a few or more select girls all pollinated together)
Caramelicious

Blueberry clones are in their own 2x2 tent. Still on 18/6 but as soon as I see new growth I’ll turn it back and start the reversing.

Got the 6 going in the garden planted as well, I’ll get some photos today. Couple chocolatinas roughed it through a very cold night a couple days ago. Seem a bit droopy but hopefully they’ll bounce back

Ur def in for a real treat on the smells for those ones, def was one of the hidden gems in that breeding run! I’ll be watching for sure! Best of luck with the project!

I’m glad you’ve killed it off! Too many people give up and don’t even try because of all the misinformation/disinformation. Let it be known… 15cents worth of sulfur is all a person needs, to wipe it out for good.
