Yo @JoeCrowe. Last year I got leaf septoria on a lot of my cannabis plants. Have you looked into eradicating that? Think sulfur would do it? I just want to be prepared because it’s 100% worse than PM

Some of the Hillbilly Skunk plants. Boys are still dropping.

One of the females is 2.5 weeks slower than the others to flower. I’m happy to get an outlier in the group for even more of the gene pool. It also makes me wonder what the smoke is like on the longer flowering plants. Every Hillbilly Skunk I have grown has been 9-10 weeks. If there are 11-13 weeks plants in there I bet they would rip my head off and I really want that.

Here are those autoflowers and a random seedling I put in a cup.

Then finally I’ve got 2 Blueberry SSH and 2 Snake Venom clones a week into flower and sprayed twice with STS so far.

I’m going to do a Snake Venom S1 at the same time as the Blueberry SSH S1 project. I’ll keep the tents in different locations in the house to prevent cross pollination. Both tents will have other clones jammed in as well for some fem hybrids.

Definitely hit that with some sulfur. Only oomycetes aka water molds are immune to it’s effect. I don’t exactly have some kind of treatment schedule for it, but give it a whirl. Worst thing that can happen is nothing.

Gave them a spray this morning. I think i’m seeing it start on the bottom of some plants. Including this beast of a Snake Venom.

@AzSeaindooin420 got those Amnesia Haze x cdlc in the ground about a week ago. Looks like one is just starting to flower but hopefully the rest can get a bit bigger.

Looks more like Leaf Septoria than PM to me. Had both last year on various plants. PM looks way different. Now, how to cure Leaf Septoria is beyond me, LOL. From what I’ve quickly read, a fungicide. Don’t know if sulphur will kill it or not.
Thoughts @JoeCrowe???

For leaf septoria you can use cease, zymes, or zerotol. I would take off some of those damaged leaves and then spray. Mulching the ground could be a good idea as well. Hope this helps!

The idea is that it could be killed by sulfur. In the documentation it states that oomycetes won’t be affected by the sulfur, but septoria isn’t a water mold. Water molds aren’t technically a fungus anyways. So we’ll see what effect it has!

Interested to see if the sulfur helps. But like @Radicle_Reefer was saying mulch around the plant. Rain can splash the ground back up into the plant which can cause problems like this. And I have seen lots of rain lately near me and I assume you have too.

I will have to mulch it. That plant is over bare soil. Unfortunately I don’t think the sulfur is doing it, and it is ripping through the plant like wildfire. I’ve already made peace with just trashing it here soon it’s that bad.

That sucks, just wanted to drop in say hi and let you know the Bloodcake are in the final elimination before I start my next set. I’m thinking start a couple with one of the single seeds I was gifted from another site.

Pretty sure that’s septoria…hypochlorous acid kills it on contact.

Do the fungal protrusions seem untouched by it?
