ABushOfKush's Cannabis Adventure - Michigan

They’re in pots so i was watering them earlier in the season but they rooted into the ground long ago and I haven’t watered in months. Actually I did water once last month sometime because I added some ammendments to the pots.

Wow they’re looking great. There must be some moisture down there under the soil? I guess some plants don’t need much. Those plants in Afghanistan are growing in dry dirt and rocks and they survive. It’s probably strain dependent. There’s a cool book on dry farming where the author goes into depth on growing food with very little water. I think if you can teach the plant to grow deep roots and your plants are rooting into the ground you don’t have to water them much at all.

It’s too wet and mucky by the creek to plant in the ground. I would have to dig out a big hole and replace it with loose soil. Cannabis is just like any other plant out there growing in my yard. If they’re in the ground and somewhat establish a root system, they need no help with water. My plants in my garden further up the yard don’t get any water from me after establishing their roots. 7 foot tall 7 foot wide bushes that are praying all day every day with just the moisture in the native soil. Dry farming is very effective with the right soil and environment.

That’s awesome! No watering! That’ll save a lot of work. I bet that swampy dirt by the creek if just full of goodies breaking down for them too. A pot above it so they can grow into it as they please. Ingenious!

Give it a shot sometime. Put one in the ground and water it maybe 2-3 times over a week or two then just watch. You’ll be surprised at how they adapt. They can look unhappy for a week or two depending on the weather and how dry the soil is. With patience they’ll perk right up and act like any other weed in your yard.

The small plants from the Blueberry Super Silver Haze S1 project are about done flowering. One more week and the few seeds that are in there should be ready. I have a couple small clones of the Chocolatina x BBSSH in with them and it’s interesting to see her next to both moms. Took more after the Chocolatina the way she stacks but the flower structure has small calyx like the BBSSH. Chocolatina has super short trichome stalks and the cross has quite long stalks. Smell is more like BBSSH as well as the color. Hasn’t purpled during the cold nights.

Gave the tray and dome a quick scrub and threw in Blueberry Super Silver Haze and Chocolatina x BBSSH to root. Give this Blueberry S1 another shot.

The reversal tent is looking good. Chocolatina has some big balls on her and I put in a big clone for seed.

I like what I’ve found so far. Still want to find another pure citrus plant out of those seeds. Frosty as hell across the board

Quite the rig! My trim work was cut in half with this septoria. I cut the tops from my snake venom plants but they’re pretty embarrassing. Looks like around Halloween for the rest of them based on last years pictures.
