The transfer pump I only use to siphon water out bc it’s hard to get the submersible pump in each bucket if scrogged and full of roots

Oh okay. I bought one of those when I was doing dwc, it was faulty or something because it got hot and started to catch on fire! Haha I didnt rebuy.

Happened the same to me, broken after some use, I just bought a new DWC bucket, filled it with water and nutes and change the lid with plant and air stones hanged to it from one bucket to another, but had only one plant …

Yes! The struggle is real. Personally I’m glad I switched to Coco coir, but anyone that can make dwc work is a beast in my book

That’s how I do my mother plants is just lift and replace lol. But I’ve had my transfer pump little of 10 months now. Only thing I do is replace the rechargeable batteries I bought for it .

Would really love to get a ebb and flow one day but for now if it’s no broke don’t fix it

Same thing, I bought one and it worked for a day then was heating up and barely pumped.

I might order another but I’ll double check the return policy for it on Amazon. I usually just top up, with only one major water change, but I’m sure I’m limiting my best potential with my laziness.
