Addicted to HAZE - Haze only thread (Part 1)

Neville’s Haze is a creepy shit of a herb. Electrical? Does it matters? It’s fucking trippy shit and a much of respect.

The clone getting around being called 5HzA is not a 5HzA and you are correct in saying its a heavy leaning Colombian flower type.

Nothing wrong in a good Colombian type so lets get that out but you have never grown Nevils Haze seed yet you act like you know the line inside out.

Nevils Haze used 2 different Haze males that is why you have both Thai and Colombian types being expressed.

Nevil like it or not bought 1000s of old Haze seed from Sam as soon as he arrived in Holland and Nevil paid big money for those seed. How do you know what Nevil did you have never spoken with him.

Lets look at the facts Maha the Haze story has changed over the years many posts have been edited or removed by Sam go look.

Your hatred for Nevil a guy you know nothing about has blinded you from reality.

You should stick to hyping and marketing your seed and focus less on attacking the credibility of a guy who did real breeding and spread seed far and wide. For doing so spent 30 years hiding in Holland avoiding being kidnapped by US authorities.

I wouldn’t call things like trainwreck / diesels / DJ Shorts F13 or any Haze heirloom varieties they are all hybrids or poly hybrids.

Each to there own when i looked at getting Haze in the late 90s i read and researched all i could my options were O-Haze from the Flying Dutchman or Nevils Haze from MrNice that was my two options.

After reading peoples posts and experiences growing these lines i went with Nevils Haze and it was one of the smartest things i did in the way of collecting genetics from Holland.

Three generations in my plants still flower for 19 plus weeks have huge vigor yield big and produce amazing plants in very small numbers of seed that is what its about at the end of the day.

Sam didnt create Haze or did Nevil or did Tom or did you or me every ones standing on the shoulders of others that came before us and others will do the same.

It’s written in this thread, he does open pollination with several plants to preserve the line

Hey how is Positronics haze/Tom’s Haze bred?

Do you mean how Tom reproduced his seed if so Tom open pollinated them he did post it in greater detail but short answer he open pollinated them.

If your asking how Positronics made the seed they sold i have no clue.

I have not to be honest all the Haze lines i grow and have grown came from Nevil or from Shanti who used Nevils lines.

I have grown his Haze for over two decades now and grown pure sativas for over four decades now mostly Thais as i really enjoy their affect.

In all honesty apart from the Haze lines i have if i had to pick a Haze other than those i have now it would be Toms and i also like the Johnny repo called i think the Goli Haze that was Ohaze selected and inbreed.

thanks! to be honest, ive read whatever i can from the sam and neville saga… i understand ppl say its a three way cross between thai, mexican, colombian - i believe? and then some others say its just thai? i tend to believe back then everyone was just as bullshiters as they are now - or worse -

i can easily imagine anyone sayin “oh, its this exotic + this exotic + this exotic” for selling purposes, but in reality it just being some single sativa they found on a hunt. - its just the vibe that i get when i read old posts about it. i havent grown haze.

anywho… in a journey of sativa/hazes then your bet would be starting with growing thai? (i have some mexican at reach… but who knows now days how hybridized everything is really, even those growing in the “wild”).

Decades ago the story on Haze went something like this.

A bunch of gorilla commercial growers crossed their best sativas to make seed for the following year and they struck Gold and made the hybrid we all know as Haze. Then each year after that they added a different sat to the make up.

The original started as a Thai Colombian they were not breeders just growers so in short Haze started as a Hybrid and ended up as a poly hybrid and depending on what year it was from it would determine what was in the haze.

Then a few years ago the story changed to a three way Colombian yea okay.

I go by my experiences of growing and smoking Thais Colombians and other sats and what i pick up in Haze has always been Thai and Colombian i the types of highs i found so i go with that.

Got these long ago. Because they were free I didn’t appreciate them as much as I should have. Those Rez freebies especially. If I remember correctly only one of the Thai Haze × Skunk 1s germinated.

@AppleRoad
I just remember that jawn flowering forever. It wasn’t ready when I harvested it. I don’t think it was bad but it but it still had a bunch of white hairs all over. I wasn’t experwe experienced enough and didn’t really the have the space for it at the time to see it through so I’m not a reliable source.
