I’m not trying to upset anyone but why are Haze hybrids so good? Maybe because of the Haze in there? Good genetics aren’t made out of thin air they are inherited from their parents. If Haze isn’t really that great then the hybrids would suck. You can’t have it both ways.

What people forget about Haze is it started as a two way hybrid to make seed for next seasons gorilla grow. It then was out crossed to other sativas year after year the guys called the Haze brothers were not breeders. This is going by what was posted and not edited or removed YET some 20 plus years ago.
So my guess and its only a guess is that when inbreed a dominant gene is at play that is not desirable and why each gen after it needs more and more numbers of plants to find the stand outs.
overall idea that northern lights genetics would improve high of tropical variety is complete nonsense… how northern lights can do that? I think northern lights is no mysterious genetics, every newbie grew it… everybody knows it very well…
of course if you dont like original haze, because it is not narcotic enough, then okay… I get it. but Ohz should not be narcotic LOL it is different type of smoke, it can cause heavy breathing and get you pale, yeah but in sense of psychedelics, not narcotics.
I am definitely NOT only one who realizes limits of NL5haze as far as tropical quality of smoke goes… tolerance build up, not ceiling less at all, and thanks to northern lights, very narcotic in various phenos, cerebral quality took down… complexity of the psychoactive effect simplified and destroyed…
I know several growers, thai lovers, they keep cuts of various thais, zamals or original haze, none of them is growing nevilles haze or NL5haze… it cant satisfy them, because that tropical quality is devaluated… also skunkman said that nevilles haze is not doing for him. I am lazy to find it, because who cares? who said what? truth is in the plants.

From what I know and have discussed with many people that piffy profile is only found in nl5x haze .
Super silver is a floral or cat pee smelling .
Mango haze is floral sweet mango
Then there’s Thai haze , other variations of sativa mix into haze . But piff that’s nl x haze for sure
Northern lights allowed a different type of expression and would still allow the sativa to dominate profile wise. You see how all haze hybrid stuff now a days is watered down like ghost train haze? And a few others I don’t want to just bash on but u get my drift? U need a indica that will allow the haze high trait to carry over which nl5 did and I’m sure nl2 did . Pure haze grew to long and ofcourse is great a bunch of sativas mixed up right , thing is that Frank profile pops up with nl haze and that was the most popular cross . Besides kali mist
i have a question, i know sam is one of the or the responsible for breeding/distributing Haze, but when his stories and words of origin dont match and have changed so much thru out the years, why do you all hang on every fucking message like if it was some legal record? its honestly bewildering.
