I have experience with Flying Dutchman Original Haze from 2005 and Original Haze from Seedsmann was a special release don’t remember the date maybe 2006 or something.

The problem is much more complex than one could assume at first sight and it is very hard for me to go into it in detail because 1. I don’t have the right words to be completely understandable, 2. it goes much deeper than you imagine and I would have to go into so much also in psychology, economics, our world, personality etc. etc. that it is impossible especially on this forum and thirdly I think it wouldn’t interest anybody and wouldn’t accomplish anything because nobody cares anyway.
But I will say this:
Just look what has happened around the world since Cannabis was made illegal. I only can speak for Germany/Europe but I guess it is similar in most Western countries.
What once was a normal plant and was used for various purposes and grew everywhere it has been accomplished by people that also were completely sure that they were and are doing the right thing that they have extinguished hemp/cannabis in these countries.
There were a lot of heirloom/landrace strains (real strains not botched thrown together stuff) grown everywhere and they were exterminated.
The same thing is happening in different parts of the world today out of different reason but with the same result. Landraces/heirlooms are exterminated for very short sighted reasons and reasons that are disguised as “help”, “science” “the right thing” etc. but in reality they are other reasons that are wrong and are catastrophic in its outcome.
Money, fame, ego, winning, competition etc. are not good advisors.

The opposite is true, I think very highly of traditional farmers, maybe you misunderstood me.
Positronics went bankrupt in 1997.Their Haze was nice.Bought their Haze seeds in 1994 in another grow shop Roots in Rotterdam.Made a hybrid with it, which could be grown outside at 52N latitude, only a long flowering periode of 16 weeks.

i feel the same , honestly the one i appreciated the most , in pure form and in hybrids was toms stuff ,
reminded me a lot of the thai i had enjoyed in my younger years , and some of the local north queensland stuff from the same roots , the mango buds many remember , sour mango , not sweet …
the picture i shared a few post previous to this , thh x c99 , gave me the sort of buzz i recall from strong south east asian weed , hot sweaty rushes across the head , and the very top of the head was hot , not many types do that …
and yes we all know what that denominator is …

tom hill made some recently ,
but is likely out ,
perhaps mad mac has some from reproductions he and some other guys have done ,
and apparently todd has a reproduction , he cant be that hard to find ,
variations are common place depending on the supplier and the direction they have gone with selection and methods of breeding …

You also got seedsmans pure reproduction made by seeds from Sam. 
All the seeds out there is from the same source and even with high population open pollination, you are mudding the waters for every generation.
