The Kandahar region has some of the best Hashplants in Afghanistan but it’s also Taliban’s territory.

It must be crazy to be an Afghani farmer and some guy rolls up in a Land Cruiser with a wad of cash and is like…I want seeds. They’re like uhhhhh…OK buddy (in Pashto).

spent some time in the general area that picture was taken. a little further south but same type of fields. very hard to stay clean when walking by fields of gorgeous plants and dudes burning great smelling hash.

mouth wateringly beautiful. i knew an afghan soldier who kept a few grams in every pocket of his uniform. they were technically forbid from using it so he said if he got caught with one of the bags that he always had backups.

I will extend the suggestion that was recommended to me by @Heritagefarms.
He recommened I read a book written by Jerry Biesler called THE BANDIT OF KABUL. AE77 describes a very surreal and interesting ride through his stays along the old Hash Trail starting in 71’.
Thanks Again @Heritagefarms

My Brother was in Helmand province with the British Army…he hated it and was happy when the Britts pulled out. He did say there were opium fields as well.

Maybe just wishful thinking, but I hope Afghanistan will be free of conflict in our lifetime. The medical potential of some of those strains locked in the valleys and mountains could be incredible if they ever make it out.
