to me IPA tastes like I would imagine that the inside of a dog’s ear tastes - not a fan

Dry would be a proper way of stating its bitter. But this is beer so yeah. Best ipa is Dogfishheads 120min the “holy grail of hops” that ageable (up to 10 years). And yes its 120 minutes of adding more hops while you brew.
I always liked their 90 minute because the 120 minute is really thick and sugary.

Gotta age it man!! give it a 5 year rest like a good white wine. @lefthandseeds the 90 minutes is lower in ABV right? Thats probably why.

lol maybe I’ll have to give it another go. I had it a number of years back at their taproom. But I tend to prefer drier beer, which is not usually the case with the high grav stuff. They’d need to use wine yeast or something to get it how I’d like it.

My all time favorite beer does not have any hops used. Samuel Smith chocolate stout ingredients are chocolate malt and chocolate. Yummy and sweet. Probably not something you would like tho.

Like I said 50-100 seeds of crossing @lefthandseeds Lowland afagani/Daku×AMS Thai Skunk. Looking forward to seeing what come from them. The afgani has a knockout potency which should go well with the frosty males short nodes. Can’t wait to pop them once their dry.
