Well @RatsboggleBiological there is also a method where instead of topping the auto you bend it over and tie it down and then as the side branches start to grow out you peg them down too so everything it growing out towards the outside of the pot.

You know, I was watching that… guy uses that bendable wire stuff to make his own u bolts kinda to push down into the soil. Trick is knowing when to bend her over the first time to start it all… but they really bush out.
You’d almost have to start them off in the pot you’ll flower them in then so no stress of up potting and chancing problems… but I like the idea of this… and why just Autos huh?
I’m also going to start doing strains by themselves for better control of things for now… yeah, I say that right? hehe

I can tell ya this, they stink already.
From now on all feminized seeds will be started directly into their 2gal felt pots

All natural this time around… reason being, started them on 12/12 and will run them on 12/12. Power bill was incredible past few months so even going to running light at night when rates are lower… blah blah…
Only training I did between the 3 Autos and 4 photos… I topped 1 photo… lol

Some training… trimmed up the bottoms… walla.
Left plant was started in a 2gal felt pot… right one a 1gal, up potted after sexing and what a diff huh? so all fem’d seeds start in 2gal pots now…

Remember on ! & 2 they were planted at the same time… look like similar phenotypes too… #1 was started right off into it’s 2gal felt pot, #2 was started in a 1gal plastic pot, then up potted around week 3… not as tall and lanky, buds already look chunkier. the end results will tell us, but I think Fem’s should be started in their home, watering is a bit tricky as you don’t want to flood the entire soil each watering… water less, more often… nite gang

If anyone is looking for some great autos to run, check out our brother Repins work… never run anything of his I did not love. this Purple Lot Lizard is a grower having run these all on 12/12 from the get go along with photos… and to look this awesome without the extra 6hrs of light… impressive to say the least…

His Purple Lot Lizard is incredible… and it’s starting to smell like grapes or berries. with just picking them up to take into the kitchen to water/feed I’m getting big whiff’s…

Nice here! I’m not into autos, but I have to admit they seem to have gone a long way. Nice to see people homebreeding with it. That gabagoo line sounds killer. Definitely a greenthumb here

Hey Funky, appreciate ya stopping in… check out my photo period thread then… Carty’s Collective. and no doubt, long way since Lowryder 1… it was designed to be balcony weed in spain and countries in Europe with low light issues… and wanted them to stay below the railing so neighbors were not the wiser… but man, Gen II added Santa Maria and some AK47 into the mix of LR 2… and the Auto world was never the same… wanna grow a killer Auto… get a feminized seed and put into a 3gal felt pot… ooooh baby… hehe
Oh, Gabagoo should be ready to share in a few months… still on the plant a growing… I also have a photo period “Wardawg” that is being worked… Once a good amount of seeds are made I can then begin mastering the strains further with pollen I’m collecting up…

It really is huh? never grown a Peanut Butter before and you can sure see the Haze influence in the taller plants buds already dreading… but man, look at them stalks of trichomes eh? this camera has a macro setting that is unreal…
