Cherry chocolate meds are great, two big girls and another in veg waiting for her shot. I had popped one early and her terps are so cherry, I’m very happy about it. I took a cut but I suspect the ones I have going will be just fine. I’ve also got a handful of FPOG F4 and all 5 UGORG crosses are above soil.
I’m saying good bye to Tahoe snow today right at 9 weeks. She’s pretty cooked. Very, very greasy and yielded a pile in that 3 gallon pot. Her clone is halfway through flower.
Here is something I would not grow again - royal punch, which is purple punch x Concord grape. Worst of all worlds, not much yield and not very interesting. I have 3 of them, they all were pretty samey.
I dropped two each of these fems, am trying not to be stingy with my seeds, they don’t do any good in my fridge. Can always cull them if I don’t have space, and I haven’t planned well for what is next.
But that’s not to say I’m not excited about them, I am!
Right on… I have to admit, I haven’t heard of any of those strains, and only a couple of the parents (am I that new or are they more obscure strains?)… In either case, I’m excited to watch them grow for ya!
Happy Friday, @luxton! You could probably say that for a couple for sure. I think the humboldt caramel cream is the most well-known, but the least exciting for me. That breeder focuses on terps, with some good results from a strain I grew from them in the past - blueberry muffin. It was a freebie, so I figured I’d get a pack. I’d have to check the cross, I don’t even know
The upper right is just a fem cap junky x tropsicle. This one I have because my local grow store got them in stock - just ziplock seeds. Had to get a pack, further research looks like they are quite legit, so I’m happy to try a couple.
Lower right is a katsu cross with bandaid haze, been wanting to try something with that for a minute.
And lower left came as a freebie from katsu. They had a sale and I got some freebies labeled as “outlaw genetics” - some fritter bomb crosses. They are killing it in my garden, and I believe the person who made those made this one too. This is Alani island (very orange) x poly (gg4 x apple fritter), poly was made by this person too.
I’m a joint smoker, and I like smaller ones pretty often. I found those little tins at the dispensary with .4 or .5 grams were nice, so set out to recreate them.
So my review, is a solid thumbs up. I always load all 6 at once, but it is adjustable. You’re really just taking advantage of the molding for the cones. You can shovel the weed in and shake it around to shift the stuff into the holes. You don’t have to close the cap and pound on the table.
So you can’t fill them evenly, unless you’re filling all the way to the top. Once I had a method though, I could just eyeball the amounts and make them quite quickly. Less mess too. Recommend if you roll a lot of small ones that you don’t need exacting weights on.
Here is space fuel (east coast SD x Romulan) x fritter bomb (apple fritter x Romulan). I have one that is way more space fuel, the other two are shrubby.
This one came out of the seed about as fast as anything I can remember - just immediate growth. I topped it twice and popped it into flower. This is at 44 days of flower and the aroma is in your face pine sol. Very excited about this one.
Today I’ll show off my eldest girls - 2 Mom’s Lemon Cream Pie - I have 4 in all and I just ordered another pack of the seeds, I’m super-fond of them. They smell like lemonade powder, and are just beautiful how the flowers form. You can see they are pretty frosty too.
These are both 57 days and the one is just starting to tighten up, so definitely over 9 weeks I think.
