We bought it at a farmer’s market. My daughter says to me “daddy you have to grow this for us.” I said “these are in a bag, ready to pop. I don’t think we can grow them. Maybe another kind.” Then she looks up at me and says “but Daddy, you can grow anything.” I grabbed 4 of those niblets so fast and off I went to prove her right. And that is the story of the purple popping corn corn. Our saying around here for the corn is: Knee high by the 1st of July. Must be referring to the Jolly Green Giant.

I love taking seeds out of vegetables and using them instead of buying seeds. A little patience and you will never have to procure seeds even again. :+1:

I’m of the same exact belief with weed plants. I love harvesting seeds out of the flower and using them instead of buying seeds. Saves a WHOLE LOT of money too.
