Best or Preferred T5 Seedling, Cloning, Veg Lights 2021?

I see. Thank you! As putting new T5s in these fixtures I already have would be my most cost effective solution to get some ladies going quickly, I will likely buy the 6400K T5s as you suggest. And work on something for the near future. I really do like what I found in researching the Mars Hydro TS1000!

When I read that post above I didn’t know what “HLG V1’s in 5000k” was. Now I do!. Nice! Very nice! Dang, dude…that’s some serious out of pocket. Still, very nice! I wish you all best Green with them!

I did a search for HLG V1’s in 5000k. Guess what I found? Your “Roll It Up” post biggrin

Thanks a bunch, @PadawanWarrior ! tup

I’ve seen those lights in my research, I haven’t dug deeper than seeing them in passing.

Interesting use of a hydraulic press

You’re gonna ‘crush’ it!

Yes, sir…I knew what you were referring to. Nice work, @anon98660487 tup

I was in metal fabrication for decades.

And this…

I was the Team Leader that modified a $300,000,000 aircraft (a C-17 Globemaster III) to accept a C-130 Anti-Missile Flare Defense System. The first C-17 to have the system. I had authority to Red Line the engineering drawings - to make changes to them where changes were recognized that were later incorporated into the drawings.

I got to cut huge holes - I mean HUGE holes  into this multi-million dollar aircraft, modify its structural components in its nose, the forward belly skin, the landing gear pods and the tail cone.

Modifying it to do this…

For some reason unknown to me, when they designed the C-17 they did not include a defense system knowing the job it would have. Flying into Hot Zones crazy

And, I forgot I even had this. I unpacked a large box of pictures and posters (relating to Aviation, Aircraft and the C-17, mostly) and this was in there with the others.

Handy
I make musical instruments sorta like a steel drum but you play it with your hands tuned to different scales steel ring is to hold the metal in place since it starts off as a flat piece of steel I hammer into a bowl shape

That’s VERY cool! Nice work! tup

Takes me about 40 hours of hammering and heating tuning

The steel ring is a tool, a jig, to hold the half dome in place until it is joined with its lower half?

@WhiteHotAfterburner I got to apprentice with the Die Makers that hand made some of the first tubular bend, non cast, manifolds for Chevy motors.

It’s called a tuning ring it holds the tension on the steel
I heat the shells in the oven while the wife is at work

Bottom shell has a hole for sound it’s called a GU
Once it’s tuned I glue the 2 shells and let sit for a week for the glue to cure, then I have to retune it

Every note has a funametal octave and 5th
Took me 2 years of hammer to tune one note and a heart attack lol

That’s awesome, @G-paS ! That’s good work! I always enjoyed my time in a fab shop, ever since Junior High School (a long time ago ). I also took Engine Mechanics in High School. Instruction no longer offered in most schools. A shame!

No sharps or flats? in fourths or fifths?

Use these and don’t look back. You can daisy-chain a pair per shelf on 5-shelf Home Depot shelves. You can probably get them cheaper on DHGate.

I have these ones in my cart for my tissue culture racks but am still shopping…
