That Bodhi thread is an absolute gem! Took me quite a while but I absorbed all the good and the bad throughout. And thank you :pray:t2: for putting these gems out there. You guys are amazing and I’m glad you are letting these stellar Bodhi creations out into the world again. Truly

@GroundUpCannabisFarm @The_Lazy_Hippie If this works out, I would definitely be interested in a SSDD run. Keep me posted!

Here’s my little update for the week. Nothing super exciting except the plants have shot right up and are outgrowing their space. GOJI #10 is still hanging on!

Looking good man!!!

That legal?

I doubt it, but what I was posting about wasn’t legal in my state either so I didn’t want to press it. lol

Moved on to here and like it much better. I’m a believer that the universe moves you to where you were meant to be.

Yeah I bet that’s why they felt comfortable making that threat. Oh well, our gain I guess!

It was almost the exact wording they used in a DM with me. Something along the lines of “someone from “illegal state” should be careful”. Plenty of other stories I heard about the mods of RIU being scumbags, so fuck em.

Plus that Bodhi thread on RIU lost all of the original posters that I used to conversate with that made that thread great. A bunch of toxic johnny come lately’s post there now that get high off the smell of their own farts because they post in a thread they had nothing to do with building.

Much better atmosphere here.

Never posted on RIU but skulked around there and other sites, lots of toxic vibes out there. Committed to OG because of the awesome sense of community as well, haven’t been disappointed since!

Too much bs to sort through at RIU I find there is better information at OG not to mention a friendlier community

Only thing on there that really interested me was the vertical growing section

I’m glad to hear it because I was getting knocked for getting my soil tested and it just didn’t make sense. All of the top organic authors suggest getting soil tested, but I guess that it’s a knock to some people’s ego. I almost don’t even want to tell you my screen name over there because I have got into heated arguments that made me feel dumber in the end.
My first idea of crowd sourcing was sending a bunch of people clones from the top 1/3 of the gene pool, but this is also interesting. I’m not the best grower and it looks like there are a few better than me on here…

Well enough of my venting about old grudges lol, on too more positive news. After 24 hours soaking in 50ml tap water + 5ml of 3% Peroxide the goji seeds went into a paper towel. After 72 hours in the paper towel all 26 have tails! I transplanted them all into plastic beer cups with 100% Canna coco that has been buffered with cal/mag twice, eight hours each time. I have heard that Canna coco comes pre-buffered but I figured why risk it especially since the buffering process is not labor intensive. I would have preferred to take the seedlings out of the paper towel at 48 hours but I dropped the ball with buffering the coco so I needed an extra day. Worked out okay as several of the seedlings shed their shell completely. A couple looked a little weak so I am expecting that a few wont pop out of the coco. I buried them a little deeper then I normally do since alot of these seeds had helmet head. Hopefully that doesn’t come back to bite me in the butt, but I am cautiously optimistic.

@The_Lazy_Hippie Forgive my stoned ass, is that update about your Goji seeds? Or was that about your SSDD seeds you mentioned?? Either way I’m hyped to see you jumping in off the bench and joining the fun!

I’m stoned too so maybe I wasn’t clear lol. These are my Goji seeds that I popped to take part in this F2 project. I must have been stoned when I decided to do this because I am a lazy hippie and have no idea how I am going to deal with all these plants lol.

I am MustangStudFarm over there, but I made that screen name when I was 19yrs old and I had a cool Mustang that I built. It was my name in the Mustang forums to begin with…

I figured but I got all charged up thinking you might’ve gotten a wild hair and dunked those SSDD beans, I was gonna like blast an air raid horn to cheer you on or something haha

I was pretty sure I knew who you are over there based on what you described. Don’t feel bad about your experience, that place has turned into an echo chamber and people there have lost the ability to listen without judgement. They chased AdvancedBuffalo out of there because he had something critical to say about ONE particular strain of Bodhi’s. Even after he had posted positive things about several other strains of Bodhi’s. Its a shame as there is a ton of great info in that thread and I don’t want to totally shit on them or the board. There a certainly good folks there, just some bad ones as well lol. But such is life.

Not yet my friend. My old keeper cut of SSDD was straight up blueberry muffins slathered in hot melted butter and had the euphoric effect to boot. Total keeper, but lost her and the rest of my mothers to mites and had to do a hard reset. My keeper was amazing and was certainly of medicinal value. I hope to find another example of her.

I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about that line, and bodhi himself speaks so fondly of it in his interviews it’s hard not to be enchanted by it even before having the opportunity to see, smell or taste it

This is why I want to keep these genetics alive. I mean, if this ever happens to one of us, I would like to be able to call someone and get another clone. At least plant some F2’s…
