jacks recommends way higher ec than the general hydro nutes i was previously using.
That could be part of it. I always use half strength from the suggested feed instructions if it is a new nutrient I haven’t used. Are you using Leds? That can mess with the Cal Mag in a new line you’re not familiar with. How about going back to General Hydro for now? since you know it better?
I am using LEDS and I ran out of GH nutes thats why im using jacks lol
I think the snow lotus dad can bring some nitrogen sensitivity. I remember reading that somewhere.
Wish I knew more about hydro, my friend. The advice I’m hearing is sound though
Edit: specially the part about switching back to something you’re familiar with
Awesome thanks for the info! So by stem color you mean look for the less purple stems?
Looked over that thread a bit last night falling asleep - some beauties in there for sure!
Think everyone has you covered. What Jack’s formula are up using? Spunfs like too much nitrogen to me.
the RO formula 12-4-16 with some epsom salts
6.3 grams/gallon of 12-4-16
.99 grams/gallon espom
I only have experience with the 321 formula. I would lower the dosage like suggested.
Yah the leaves look clawed up from some kind of stress. Definitely start with the nutrient levels and if that doesn’t pan out, look at the different variables. PH, EC, temps, light level etc… Sometimes I find the easiest solution is to toss out the old nutrient solution and start over.
Things looking good on my end. Lights were flipped to 12/12 on the eve Dec 7, so I’m counting Dec 8th as Day one of flowering. I know everyone has their opinions but after all my grows, this is the way I do it.
From the night of topping to 8 days later:
Clones are coming along nicely also:
Starting to get really fun now!
Looking good! Those clones look healthy AF. Nice work.
Ya I’ve never personally had healthier clones. The one thing I did differently was that I made a gel from my aloe flakes by just adding enough water until it was like a hair gel consistency and dipped the cuts in that gel before dipping it into the rooting powder. I heard Jeremy of Build a Soil talk about making gels from aloe or kelp extracts so since I had some aloe flakes on hand I figured it couldn’t hurt… It really seems to have paid off. I’ll be incorporating that method into my cloning game from now on!
Nice tip. Thanks.
damn, i think i need to steal that clone tech, mine are surviving, but not thriving like that!
i have the mats, im going to do this.
They look great, nice colour
They look like an advertisement for happy cannabis plants! Beautiful!
I got home today and the plant sitter did a awesome job! Four males look great. The one I wasn’t sure would live looks like it will be good.
Tomorrow I will take clones, top and flip!
I will get photos also!
