Not as great a update as @ramblinrose … looking great btw!! My keeper pheno years ago was a tall lanky plant.

I had 2 females and 4 males. Now we have 3 and 3…I know weird but this strain always has singing different for me. Looked male till about day 7 of 12/12 then all a sudden female flowers. I’m still checking everyday, all over but looks solid.

Tent over view, red “arrows” are females.

And pics of all 3 male plants sacs.

Mind you in in the north east of the US so temps are chilly in my basement this time of year. So the links and purples are most likely due to that temp swing.

So far, so good just need some pollen and some time for the ladies to take it.

A2 keeps popping out nuts. i’m afraid shes gonna get axed, but she smells so good. like a chocolate covered cherry cordial. this is sadder than the ending of old yeller.

How is A1 looking?

she has not thrown any male parts since the first sac I found and that was before flowering.

It was my understanding that we’re not adding seeds from hermed plants whatsoever?

Not trying to poop the party… hell if anything more for you to grow or trade with. Maybe I got it wrong I dunno

I have culled a2 and I wouldn’t really call a1 a hermie.

ugh. none of my cuts lived. @G-paS is the sole holder of A1 now. I was looking forward to running these girls for sensi but that won’t happen now.
good news is that I have pollen from @ramblinrose and @G-paS to dust A1 who would be ready in about a week.

You can try a reveg after harvest for a last shot, im still waiting on one of mine to root… grr. Also - if the pollen i sent ya is a bit too little, can cut it with flour to get more out of it.

I pulled this strain description straight from bodhi from over on the bay, figured it might be of use here, especially the pheno breakdown

Lineage:
nepali og x snowlotus

Parental Information
over the years ive worked on various og kush projects, some interesting plants have come through, but never the total package. this last year ive been testing a very special og hybrid called goji og, named after the bright red sour himalayan berry. this hybrid has excelled indoors and out and is truly the total package, incredible full on og aroma and taste with an undercurrent of red berries, black cherry, hawiian punch, licorice, and alpine strawberries.
one of the biggest yeilding ogs ive ever run that still maintain the effect, aroma, taste, and resin content of a true og. improved stature, no more floppy stems, or insane staking required… grows like an indica hybrid. the few people i have let run her, are dropping everything to pack their rooms with her. the cut i run was found from the first round of three seeds , when i saw the potential i ran a bunch more seeds outside to get a better look. the cross is a combination of my snow lotus male, which is very clear in breeding, i think thats how the magic happened, just passing the size, power and resin over while keeping all the qualities of the og kush. the mother is nepali og aka nepali kush, an old og kush from grass valley that is closest in appearance to the tahoe, the buy in for this cut in the mid 2000’s was 20 grand…lol… i dont know if any cut is worth that much, but it is a very nice og… theres two main phenos in the goji og line a bigger yeilding og smelling totem pole maker of infinite delight, and a smaller strawberry pheno that looks like a super frosty sfv og, but has the super narco high of the snowlotus and no og smell. the big og smelling pheno shows up about 3 times in one pack of seeds. these seeds are more expensive than my other lines because the mother plant does not produce that many kids, quality over quanity.

I wasn’t a fan of the big yielding totem pole pheno that I sampled personally, but it sure was photogenic, frosty and had a great calyx to leaf ratio. Oily trichomes(not sticky) and terpenes that were very unappealing to me. Smells were a very weak/muted earthy smell. It definitely required staking due to size of the flower clusters. Effects weren’t nearly as good as some of the other uplifting Gojis that I’ve tried. If that pheno was found with stronger & more attractive terpenes plus the effects Goji is capable of producing it would be a holy grail in my book.

Still have a few F2s left from it to eventually explore and hit with some Goji F1 pollen (hopefully). Hopefully if someone here finds the pheno it turns out better.

i’ve never heard of anyone reveging a seeded plant, but i will definitely try it.

It works just the same

I had success revegging 2 seeded Newberry females recently - they’re pretty finicky blueberry plants and still worked just fine. Maybe 1 month under a cfl in closet at 24/0. So definitely possible.

That sucks!

Definitely a good way to help spread and distribute the limited amount of pollen around.

Hey, when you guys do have a small amount of pollen, what location on the plant is best to pollinate? My inclination is to concentrate it towards the middle of the plants rather than the tops where it’s getting a lot of light or towards the bottom where it’s not enough.

Anyway. N9 has been throwing nanners in flower… I honestly believe this is all due to cold temps. N9 is sitting directly beside the only airvent in the tent and is more than likely getting blasted from the incoming cooler air. It’s just been wickedly cold here lately so I’m almost certain that’s what causing this… Especially after reading this:

@HolyAngel Thanks for the information!!

Let’s start w the good news…

C8- tallest, bud structure is loose, floral kush scented w a slight gas to her

C4- smallest, most sweet smelling w hints of strawberry

C5- medium to wide growth, slightly sweet w a Kush overtone

And for the not so good news, pulled three nanners off C7 this morning. It’s very sad, b/c she is one of my favorite looking plants; she has the strong kush scent w a hint of sweet and lemon, tight large cola buds, medium size frame. Ughhh. I’ve removed her from the tent, so now she is just outside w the boys. I might bring her into the house to get her farther away from the others. Im gonna try to keep her tho, unless she goes full on male sacs. It seems that the community would like to keep herms out of the general population of seeds, so I would hold on to these myself. Unless folks do want them included, I’m fine w that also. Let me know what you all think.
