Getting any interesting smells off the ladies?
The taller OG looking plant has some Funk to it. Not really sure how to describe it. This reminds me of a cut I got from jetdro many years ago. Was potent and had great lasting power.
2 shorter plants are a bit more subdued and sweet.
As always, kinda hard to tell when you seed them early. After shucking, I’ll make a ton of King size cones for friends and homeless folk.
Shucked a few myself that are looking alright. I’m at day 65 today. I’m assuming since my space was colder than usual that my plants will probably be a little behind on the seed production. So I’m also guesstimating another 10-14 days. Some are showing signs of readiness though so it will most likely be a staggered harvest for me.
I put the @catapult, C5 and @antheis, A1 clones in with my four male clones today.
This is the CF that I pollinated with the pollen from the Father’s to check viability.
I just love seeing all the different cuts come together!
Has this ever been done before? A bunch of folks all workin g towards the same preservation like this? It’s very cool to watch and it seems like a notable effort. Big old back slaps all around to you folks doing the thing!
Oh my ! Those look gorgeous
Thats cool man. Im sure they appreciate it. I know if I was homeless I would.
Small update here - day 54 flower, cruising along. Thinking day 70 for chop, though Ill make sure seeds are fully ripe before harvesting. Mostly all have og esque resin rubs - a few lean more earthy / breathy, others brighter pinesol. And then theres R4 which is still strong berry candy, with a bit of chocolate behind it today. I prefer the pinesol leaners and R4 the most if I were choosing today. R2 and R3 are the most resinous and both are more towards pinesol OG.
Bad hps photo:
That’s cool to hear about the chocolate. The last time I grew Goji, one of them had a hardcore “chocolate” thing going on, which I hadn’t seen anybody mention before. I was calling it “coco powder,” actually, like a sorta musty, dry chocolate smell.
Didn’t retain that smell after drying/curing, though.
Yeah in my experience chocolate kind of cures into berry, at least in the few blueberry plants I grew. Chocolate in the final flavor would be awesome ha.
Yeah, one of the Gojis (can’t remember if it was the chocolate-smelling one) developed this suuuuuuuper-hardcore “blueberry compote” thing while it was curing, never smelled anything like it. Except when I’ve smelled blueberry compote haha. But it was unmistakeable and very surprising. Smelled more just “berry-ish” after a few weeks, though. Still real good, but it woulda been awesome if it had retained that blueberry compote smell.
I don’t remember what my last up date was so here I go.
Four male clones on the outside. In black pots.
This tall lanky plant with off shoots on buds def likes the frost.
I spot a few seeds in there, only a waiting game now.
So good to see this run come together the way it has!
Hats off to everyone of you, steller effort!
day 50 update for A1
the chocolate smells are slowly slipping into the background but are definitely still there. she primarily smells like artificial cherry/raspberry (goji berry?) and is getting very chunky. i had wires pulling her to the right and i had to switch them up and now they are pulling to the left so she’s not flopped all the way over.
she’s seeded for sure, as the pictures will show, but not nearly as much as i’d like. she is eating lower fan leaves but the reveg station looks healthy and green still.
Looking great guys! Well done
Great pics! Fine looking plants for sure!
I like this name lol…
Nice plants…
