I just sit in the front of the tent, no room in there, lol.
Hey @PadawanWarrior , nice to see you kicking around OG bud.
Are some males earlier than others?
Does it matter
Sometimes but I donāt think it makes much difference. Itās been just fine in the past.
Do you have openings on the sides with your tent? I need to take a few out so I can water the one in back since my tent sits in a croner of the room.
You too bud. Your plants are looking amazing as always!
Some males are faster than others. Itās a topic of debate in breeding about whether to use the fast males or if it degrades the line.
Personally I donāt believe it, but who am I
Looking great @DougDawson
I do but they are hard to get to. I just pull a couple plants out of the front and make a path. Then crawl under the canopy, lol.
Thanks man, the run is going pretty good. Plants are surviving my less than perfect style so big props to good genetics.
What pH do you aim for?
I shoot for 5.8 to 6.1. Had PH issues twice in this grow. First time it was my probe and second was my calibration solution. The second time I ended up feeding at 6.4 and locked out zink but got a new probe and new solutions so PH is on point and all the yellowing went awy.
I need to get better about doing this part of growing if I want to get better. I never check the PH.
You must be in soil? I canāt do that in coco, the babies drink the Drano fast.
Too much Ca or Mg can also lockout zinc. The mixing order can mess stuff up too supposedly. Iāve been adding and mixing in this order: Epsom, Micro, Bloom, Grow. Youāve got way more experience than me with Coco and GH so you were probably the one who told me the order in the first place, lol.
They can. Should be Epsom, Micro, Grow and then Bloom or at least thatās the way I do it. It was PH in my case, once I fixed the PH my issues went away. But yeah, mixing order matters.
Right on. They kind of say itās better to add the Bloom before the Grow, but they also make it sound like it doesnāt matter much with those 2. Itās confusing,
Never mix the nutrients together in their concentrated form, as this will cause nutrient ālock-out,ā making some minerals unavailable. It is best to begin by adding FloraMicroĀ®, stirring well, and then adding FloraGroĀ® and/or FloraBloomĀ®. If both FloraGroĀ® and FloraBloomĀ® are used, add one, stir well, then add the other.
- Start with a reservoir of fresh water, adding concentrates one at a time and thoroughly stirring each one in to prevent nutrient lockout. Shake each bottle well before pouring.
- If using any silicon products, like Armor Siā¢, add them to your reservoir first.
- Next add any calcium sources ā start with supplements, like CALiMAGicā¢. Following any supplements, add FloraMicroĀ®, which also contains calcium.
- If using FloraBloomĀ®, or any other bloom supplements that contain phosphorus, like PurpinatorĀ® / TerpinatorĀ®, add it following your calcium products.
- If using FloraGroĀ®, add it to your reservoir now.
- Any additional supplements can typically be added in any order at this point, except organics, like FloraliciousĀ®, which should be added last.
- Adjust pH to match the recommended range for the crop youāre growing.
Refer to feedcharts for guidance on measurements by growth stage.
Be sure to watch Jesse walk you through the process of mixing FloraSeriesĀ® here ā¶
Looking good, @DougDawson
Yeah, itās funny because if you watch the video linked at the bottom of those instructions to guy mixes a batch and does the it in the order I do it. He does the Micro, then gro and then bloom. Strange.
Thatās the order Iāve done it in when using nutes as well.
Plants look great Doug.
Thanks bud. Itās also the order on the feed chart. Not sure why they now list grow last but even in the video link where they show the guy mixing, he does grow and then bloom. I am thinking they screwed up when they wrote those instructions.
