The too long didn’t read version: Red light causes terpene emission, so with only blue light for the last three days of flower the terpenes build up to higher than normal levels.

@Northern_Loki No idea. This is the first time I’ve heard of this phenomenon, but the anecdotal evidence heavily agrees – The dark period before harvesting; The 10kKelvin bulbs for finishing; The significant difference in an HPS ability to smell up a whole neighborhood compared to LED.

Super interested in the way this all works. :thumbsup:

Yea, definitely interesting.
Off the cuff you could say that the 3 days dark/flushing the medium/barking the trunk theorists may be somewhat onto the same idea.
She’s a complex plant. And the more you know, the more intriguing it gets.
