Boveda vs Boost or nothing?

My house is pretty dry in winter so I’m using Boveda packs to bring up the RH% if they end up over drying. :+1:

Sure is, I created it months ago after my Halloween harvest, as an update the bovedas have been working great for keeping my buds hydrated from the daily smoking pulling from the jars out here in dry ass az. I was skeptical after the reviews on my post but 4 months later using em and my bud still is smooth and pleasant and not dry and crispy like previous years without, I’d def recommend em if u live in a dry area and need that lil extra insurance on your moisture levels

I usually keep my jars either covered or in a box, closed and in the basement.
Almost all my jars were from my mom’s house after she left earth many years ago. I was raised eating home canned food, and wild game, and what we raised or bartered with.
Someone stated about lid use or reuse, they only fail if you waterer sealed them or crushed them super tight when using them. I have some lids been sealing up weed for many years, and I can still put it on a jar and submerge it into water and no leaks. I’d never reuse a truly sealed up proper like jar lid. And now most are aluminum and we hate them.

I’ve just harvested so I don’t have any big fan leaves to hydrate my jars… however, I have a Pink Variegated Lemon tree…I have been using a leaf from my lemon tree to hydrate my jars…this leaf gives off a lemon aroma when I use it…

bettter made with better material - craftsmenship - know what you mean about the lids - thanks ! thought that the tighter they were the better --just screw on tight then 1/2 turn ?

interesting - the orange peel thing sometimes “rubed” off into the pot - flavor so to say

That’s why I don’t use peels, it has oils… it alters the flavor…

Boost Packs have come out with New packs - they are terpene specific packs and you put them in your cure to increase terpene’s. Check it out -they just came out with these. may be one can add tthem to shity pot to increse flavor ? thoughts !!! some thing new to grab you money !!!

Skeptical.

And I don’t like the idea of adding anything to my weed.

I am 100% not skeptical.
I call Bull Shart!

Would love to see how Integra explains the science behind how adding their product to cannabis can increase terps of a dead or dying plant.
Maybe they meant Preserves the trichs for a better terp profile?

No way they can increase flavor of Shit Cannabis.
You can put lipstick on a pig…and all…

I just checked their website and they actually have terpenes inside the new packs with different ranges of flavours so I’m guessing that’s how it will increase them. By adding more. Not from your weed.

What about these curing bags got a free sample in the mail recently just threw some bud in to see what there hype is .

Lipstick on a pig might improve her looks but she’s still a pig .

Late update but superior to bovida by a long shot work excellent.

For some reason, that probably has nothing to do with the marathon dab session recently completed….I had this vision of you with these giant bales of Bovedas - like size 5000, 50-lb cubes, all over your place…. 62% across the homestead….

I put hygrometers in my jars with the integra 55s and none of them were that high. The RH was 45-50%.

Boveda does actually match the RH in the jar with what’s on the pack.

Nowadays if I have some herb that might be under 55% RH I use bovedas in my grove bags until the RH hits 58 and then I take the boveda out and store it for next time. The humidity stays solid 58 in the bag after that.
