The beginning of the end…
I chopped the Bodega Bubblegum female #1 (x FDM Indiana Bubblegum Make #1) from in my flower cab today!!!
She had completely dry calyxes filled with fully ripe seeds all throughout the buds. Then I popped off a few green calyxes from different buds, top to bottom, and the seeds inside were also fully ripe! plus she is 2x taller than her cohort-mates, so now with her gone I can lower the light to a more appropriate hight for the stretch run for the 4 girls remaining in the cab! So into my drying tote she goes!
I am going to really try and dry her as slowly as I possibly can, just to give any straggler beans a few more days to ripen! but hot-damn now that she is out of the (carbon filtered) cab she is stinking the house up!!!
My wife (the sommelier) says she smells: wet earth funk, skunk, candied grapefruit peel, and a hint of fuel/gas/diesel.

Wine has sommeliers, beer has cicerone, I feel like we should have cannabists or some such certification! Masters of weed knowledge from region, to terroir, aroma, flavor, and effect, as well as grow style, etc.
Maybe I’ll start a side project…

I would say the BOGglebum smelled the most bubblegum like.
But the FDM Indiana bubblegum is the sweetest smelling…

Great to see all the successful Bubblegum grows… Based on the terrific initial results for the bx1 tester release of FDM’s Indiana Bubblegum, we’ve decided to release the rest of our tester stock as a Bubblegum Mix pack. Like all FDM mix packs, you get 25 seeds for about 30 bucks, but unlike our other mixes, the Bubblegum mix, at least for now, will consist of a single seed lot: the tester pairing of our '91 all-American Indiana Bubblegum heirloom cut to the '98 Serious Bubblegum male. We have been stocking up on it at the webstore and our outlets in the UK and Europe, so get while you can, when it’s gone it’s gone.
