I’m fairly sure I can see 8 legs on them, I’m sorry i don’t know what they are?

It’s worth giving a little soak using some wetting agent or dish soap with H202 or citric acid.

I’m far from experienced with pests but I know with certainty that wetting kills spider mite it’s worth a try to see if it puts a dent in the numbers?

Agree, they look like soil mites to me, they’re harmless but not in big numbers. I would do a drench wit diluted peroxide, but notice that kills also the “good” microbes so you would have to repopulate them with a recharge, EWC or similar … beer3|nullxnull
