Here’s a Assassin Bug feasting off a worm on one of my plants

I was thinking it looked like the head of a male Mantis…kind of has a surprised look on his face.

Thanks… It’s eating a bud worm/caterpillar. This one was found eating the caterpillar but I also save cats in a jar so when I find a mantis around the yard I’ll put them on a plant then feed them a cat I had saved so they hopefully learn to associate bud worms with cannabis and stick around.
