C-Rex Cretaceous Cannabis Cave

Not sure about you; but any PM/Budrot material I ever get goes into city compost bags instead of my compost. If I didn’t have city collection i’d torch it.

I have city collection and I still torch it, its more fun lol.

We are surrounded by dense bush and open grazing fields, PM and its environment is only ever 20 feet away. I can usually control things with preventative sulphur treatments and I found the Canadian restricted Actinovate worked wonders. I couldn’t get any as my American connection couldn’t cross the border… My property also is starting to wreak of sweet skunkiness, I hate spoiling my neighbours (all 3) October fresh air by burning weed or willow or poison ivy LOL…my reputation as a severely unstable weed grower with a family of gold, (in the eyes of my neighbours) must not be sullied as we are ultra peaceful, quiet, and look out for our neighbours old school. We will soldier thru this and give all the crop a good H2O2 bathing at harvest. Sulphur with some kinda organic American plant cleaning wonder liquid mixed with it is what we sprayed with, before the rain. I hated seeing the lady bugs and odd spider getting the spray…just checked, very effective…I’ll have yellow speckled lower leaves in no time, hairs are still white as well so far so good.

Powdery mildew is host specific. The kind infesting your cannabis crops isn’t in the woods over there.

Squash plants and zucchini seem to carry it, I don’t know whether it is the same species. I wasn’t vigilant enough this summer spring, but I think we will be OK for the rest of the season, massive pruning and spacing the plants out and spraying is the routine. We are moving the raised gardens after this season, so refreshing will be welcome next year. A breezy and arid couple of months wouldn’t hurt either LMAO… as if. Appreciate the info in your posts @JoeCrowe .

The mildew growing on the cucumbers and zucchinis are the same, but not the same as the mildew growing on your cannabis. All those different mildews can be wiped out using the same method, as sulfur water disintegrates the colony on contact. I would just go in the spring and eradicate every mildew colony growing at the same time. I know the squash plants grow way better without that lame parasite sucking their life out. Also, once the colony is dead, you won’t have to spend any $$$ or effort in the future. Thanks for the thanks man, usually people just call me a liar and move on with life

Yeah, I come here and show my mistakes (some successes) and grows, so I can learn and share. You are great at problem solving like a few other OGers, so those who can’t or won’t take advice, well its their loss. I’m don’t thank peeps around here enough really, it is great to have a place with such passion for cannabis and its growers.

On 420/22 you taught me to be less cynical. lol! I’ll always appreciate that. I know, that sounds kind of silly, but holy I CAN be the ultimate cynic.

Passion and critical thinking, these crazy days, leads to a whole lotta scepticism after all these years. Being challenged on ones knowledge is to be expected, and welcome, but there are a few too many ASKholes around, and they beat us to their level sometimes. Always enjoy your stuff and sense of humour. I’ll keep working on my optimistic pessimism meanwhile LOL Cheers Joe

I am aghast at what I found under my coffee table…primo hairnuggo

very disappointed at the cleaning staff and the non-growing smokers who are strangely preserving the best of the bud and then losing interest at a critical time IMO. I’m gonna have to watch these women closer…
defies logic and they are laughing about it. toilet seat up for a month will teach them a lesson.

The scream when they fall in is hilarious and totally worth the trouble you’ll get into

That’s a big fish for a small stream, well done to your daughter, I bet that put up a good fight :+1:

Chinook run in that stream (which also has coho and rainbows) get pretty far up when the water gets high after rain or in the spring. That spot is only a mile or so from L.Ontario upstream, and isn’t the cleanest (city rainwater culverts) but when the water clears up it is a beautiful creek with tons of wildlife… where we park has a paved path, baseball field, basketball court and kids playground right there. upstream another mile is a somewhat secret abandoned WW2 Nazi Prison camp, right beside the stream. Quite the interesting locale with only an occasional fisherperson and hundreds and hundreds of Salmon. Rainbows will start a false run soon, but the rivers north of hwy 2 all close after Sept 30.

Been a sec. OK Fishing season closing, trees changing and whoops extended outdoor trim jail has started. When its nice out, we trim them where they stand then fell them with a chainsaw, LOL just a hand saw or clippers, the last thing you want is artificial fuel terps from exhaust…a few pics what a beautiful day today.

Bottom pic is of @Pigeonman UK Cheese she has handled my neglect and looks to be liking the cooler weather as she is still throwing white pistils…the 2 frosts we had this week sped things up a bit. Not too much loss due to rot or mildew, pretty much a good climate year relatively. I put in a poor performance this year, in the garden, but did just enough to ensure meds through the long winter. I culled all my mothers only keeping smaller cloned moms going indoors. going to re-tool and start with babies. Soil mixing outside will start real soon so it like has some time to cook. Almost considering promix soup-stlye organic, as my 7 yr old soil has given me a thrip problem recently, I dunno, can’t do hydro as there is no suitable plumbing in my dungeon LOL.
