Gave up lol, soaked in sweat just trying to start the weed whacker, I need to start it at 6am tomorrow, only 9.45 am here atm, and it’s too hot already
i lucked out and woke up at 7am and ended up outside at 7:30… by 8:30 it was already difficult to breath and you couldn’t tell where your body ended and the gross air began.
Today is inside until I run out to clip the autos for cropping before noon. (I moved them right next to the back door this am lol)
Done…NOT today, maybe this evening…hot.
The private parts are starting to show, 2 big males gone 1 tyrannabis rex male which is the largest of all the plants. And 1 raspberry box male (these were planted 3 to a 25 gallon pot. Only a cpl more males possible, as most everything else is a clone. Finally got some good rain AFter watering, of course. Spaced the plants out a bit, will try and prune after doing a bubble hash run on the deck. Jalepeno peppers are starting to ripen, and passed the first tasting. Have a happy Monday.
Some more balls, more inglorious culling Darn the med breath is looking male. Has great bushy structure, I may try to keep a branch for some pollen, maybe. I guess no one would like a semimature male in a 25 gal pot? Medecine Breath = Grandpa’s Breath x Grapesycle forklift not supplied LOL.
DUUUUUUDE!!!
Those are looking AWESOME!
wish we could get away with growing outdoors like that (nosy neighbor who’s f-ing brother is a State Trooper…go figure!
Sure miss my veggie garden…think I’m going your route next year with containers!!
Looking good!!!
Nosy cops for neighbours what a shitty deal for ya. This whole continents’ citizens deserve the freedom to smoke and grow their own. Containers are a good way to avoid weeds and makes bugs easier to control/spot. Only problem for me is keeping a good constant moisture level through the months. Dry/wet cycle is fine indoors but outdoors, fluctuations under the hot sun are NOT a good thing. Tomatoes are tough if your not on top of the watering regime. 1 week of semi laziness and my tomatoes split when I overwatered to ‘make up’ for my laziness. I’ll get some more pics of all the plants, peppers are in overdrive and bloom period has approached LOL slightly more interesting pics now that somethings happening, Thanks for dropping in.
Yeah. I don’t get how ANYONE can govern, regulate or make illegal a PLANT that was put on this Earth for us to use-- especially those conservatives that scream about big Government and religion keep voting down Cannabis rights/Legalization…
Go figure…
In my old garden (40 x 100-- not doing THAT again) used drip hoses…Next year I’m looking at rain barrels with Gravity-fed drip system…IF I get the stuff off my ass early enough in the year to plant on-time— we lose everything to frost by Oct.1st (usually) so I have tented some things…we HAD a 12 x 20 greenhouse-- but a huge storm shredded it… MAY put it up again next year…who knows…
Would LOVE to get some plant as nice as yours going!!
My rain barrel flows too slow for me (poor D I Y engineering lol) I have to install a larger spout this fall. 40x 100 OMFG… We usually have frost starting first week of october too. I’ll hack together another poorly designed cover/shade to help them through the cold nights, as I can’t put these suckers inside this year (my failsafe plan).
pic from last week, I need to feed and trim the lowers and interiors a bit for the last time, only defoliation , when needed, from now on. Top dressed and finally did it this afternoon. Before…
And after TodayWhat doesn’t kill them will make them stronger…??? I’ll take a pic tonight to see them bounce back??? he he And PM is hitting the outside plants pretty hard dammit have to spray before rain tomorrow ffs, ahh happy times. Changing my name to eeyore soon LOL.
I feel for you @Cannasaurusrex and wish only the best against all this fuckery!
Make sure you break the mildew cycle before next years growing, or that shit will come back.
Would the freezing winters in Canada not do that? Mold can survive even through months of insanely cold temps? I’m legit curious. I’d think that the below-freezing temps would kill pretty much everything, but you have way more experience with that kind of shit than I do (thankfully haha). And I obviously have zero experience with freezing temps haha.
The molds don’t survive but the spores sure do…
Cheers
G
The shit winters over on plant material.
Just gonna have to do my best, treating the plants now and cleaning up the gardens and get all the plant material into the composters before winter sets in…
