Time to stop lurking, and get back in the swing of things. Been quite a journey over the last couple years, other than keeping the meds growing, I havenā€™t had my heart or my head into my cannabis passion for a couple of seasons. Soā€¦ Iā€™m just figuring out this new laptop, struggling to keep windows 11 from imprisoning all my ā€˜intellectualā€™ property and getting my wifes gopro to seamlessly work (without a cell phone). Then I can get my now retro Canon EOS hooked up, and show you the new crop, getting ready for selection for summer.
Now that Iā€™m finally starting to get back to living amongst the living (4 years of work family sleep), I have found the local old boys network of tired and weak clones for the group, has not survived the plague intact. Not Co-vidā€¦JT poverty plague forced some moves. Anyhoo, This city boy (only lived here 35 years now) can endear himself by helping others as I had a neighbour do an open pollenation of our Sacred med cross (OD x Titanic) X lucky 7ā€™s Female with an original stock OD X titanic male, this past summer. The seeds (probably 1500) are 100% on germination and I have a dozen topped plants waiting for me to go get some perlite for cloning. Then transplant and fire up the growroom which hasnā€™t been active since last spring. Do a good selection in 10 weeks, puts things mid april for clone production, ready for garden on victoria day. I think the locals will be happy with 4 garden ready beauties each.
I think Iā€™m up for it as I am ready to move forward again with my life, dragging my family and old comfortable habits along with me. I bought the ticket, let the ride continue, no sense getting off now, just cause a wheel or two is missing. Iā€™ve always had a few screws loose, so no sense tightening up now, or things just seize.
Cheers all, hope to get ya some bud porn, soon, I miss yā€™all (and rollit banned me for lifeā€¦) LOL

No loss for you there then lol.

Good to see you back in the saddle of life and weed again man, sometimes we need a break from everything to know what we are really missing and enjoy in life, rather than it just being an old habbit that no longer has any real value in our lives :+1:

You going with concentrates from here on out or something? I find weed smoke irritates my lungs.

Mostly bubble hash. I love my bags.
Cigarettes are still my worst enemy (and second best friend) so just moderation. I still take hits of my daughters meds, but generally not smoking a pack a day and 3 grams of hash helps. 1/2 pack and 2 grams is more my age LOL.

I still have lots of older seeds to spread about, perhaps I will just show a few packs on here, amongst the plants, so I can spread some goodwill around. Still working on pic software for this pc and getting my old printer recognized, Iā€™m working at a sloths pace, though.

Yesssssssā€¦ I think that was the first seed run I ever signed up for here, but I havenā€™t planted any yet. I did grow the straight Gold Star f4 from Bodhi years and years ago and it was some of my favorite weed ever. Very, very good and unique.

Iā€™m excited, looking forward to what you think of that one for sure.

100% germination on all of the seeds!!! Just put them in soilā€¦
Christmas plantings coming along, ready to fire up bloomroom, synching lights and another cleaning/spraying with sulphur and soap, before launch.
Clover cover crop this time.
I pretty much dumped the rest of my organic ammendments into the decade old soil pile in the fall and put it into containers after a good 2 -3 week cook in the sun. I had a recurring thrip issue during the lockdown, and all my mix got an outdoor ā€˜rest and cookā€™ all summer, and subjected the soil to the environment, freezing, bugs, worms and solar radiation. I donā€™t see any signs of dreaded thrips or mites (besides wifeys houseplants grr) only the ever present fungus gnats. I will start treating my water with the mosquito dunks soon and take care of those little pricksā€¦
And NOW for some slightly underage bud porn. As almost everyone here knows, about 6 weeks or so in veg, Yopung plants will often flash their pubes, just like this Helps with my shitty sexing method of ā€˜pull it in bloomā€™ if it shows balls. I have cuttings, so its grow and test time now, by the weekend theyā€™ll be at 12/12.
As per the cuttings, a week in the ghetto cloner and all look fineā€¦

Happy to be having fun growing again, please direct all questions and nonsense here, all are welcome!!

Can anyone direct me to a current Ontario supplier of organic soil stuff? Both the dealers I used in Toronto are gone and closing, I used Indoor Farmer website, free deliv and pretty good prices. Seems our only popular choice is Gaia green products and now Black Swallow brand. The american brands (Dr. Earth and Epsoma) are getting as rare and costly as hens teeth. Actisol is a good brand but Home hardware et al only stock a few of their products. Canadian Tire and the rest are a sea of Monsanto (excuse the historical refefrence derp) yellow and green in the gardening aisles. Neem is illegal, bacterial pest controls are getting the ban. Its really getting easier to grow naturally these days huh? I have trouble grasping whether peeps want natural or quick and chemmy. To each his own, but I canā€™t see organic supplements being in less demand, as shelf space would indicate? Or is a product that says ā€˜organic-basedā€™ enough to satisfy the alarmist? I have absolutely no qualms about some of the hydroponic wizards on here, and would gladly smoke their product, but using mineral salt fertilizer outdoors in soil is a bad practice.
Then again, growing indoors organically is an ongoing battle with pests and pathogens, so yeah, to each his own, I try to stay away from chemical and drug giant productsā€¦Cheers.

I have organic in a bottle.

Thanks @Pigeonman . @Foreigner, Iā€™m kinda afraid to askā€¦lol. I do a tea every so often, rarely a topdress, usually water all the way through. I did end up ordering a ā€™ langbeinite trioā€™ 0-0-22, but it is water soluble, so that one might sit for a couple years beside my soluble fish emulsion crap being used in tea pinch by pinch. Iā€™m usually just a dry mix alchemist lol.
