C-Rex Cretaceous Cannabis Cave

Gotta couple Gold star snow Lotus survivors along with most of the Dank Zappa’s. Along with the new clones tranplants of LK for the selection process. On a nostalgia note, I found these today… and these too And these…

I have crosses made from those, great squat fast plant. I am reluctant to start those without a purpose, I was delighted to find a few more Querkle seeds. I’m not sure what to do with some of these, in the meantime, their fridge is being defrosted. LOL

Anybody use BT in their water? I’ve used it before to knockdown and destroy fungus gnats, but I’m trying to find out what it does to the soil life in a tlo system…other than the easy to find info like not harming predators or worms…Imma gonna do some looking, but does anyone have any offhand experience? I’m thinking there is a lot uknown seeing as the gov. uses it massively to fight moths, but the warning label and restrictions from our gov. for residential/personal use are somewhat ominous? Lemme know, pic update later, doing an complete gound floor paint job ATM so busy,…lol.

I did for a while getting a bad fungus gnat infestation under control, didn’t seem to affect microbial efficiency as far as I was aware, but the plants were suffering a lot from the gnats as well so it’s hard to say for sure.

I use this:

in combo with: dryouts, fogging safers end all, and sticky traps.

I always have this problem in the winter with all my houseplants.

I blame the wife and her tropicals…I do the exact same, looove dealing with the sticky traps and 'changing up the IP routine…image

ahh the price we pay for organic love.

No more faith-based growing for me…

It totally works. Gnatrol is the shit. Sometimes I use it once early on as a preventative, but when I have an actual infestation, I water with it two or three times every eight days and the fungus gnats are GONE.

I’ve seen some people use it regularly, gnats or not; I wouldn’t do that. But yeah, if you have an infestation, Gnatrol will wipe them out. You might even only have to use it once, depending on, you know… the gnats haha.

The nematodes are very specific in what they kill. Never had a problem!

I put a tiny crumble of one of these in my water jugs if I ever see a gnat. Very tiny, like a booger per gallon. It’s bti, it works great for the gnats, it’s effective in such small ammounts I doubt you’d see any measurable difference as far as plant performance, but I dunno, I’m curious too though…I’m still barely into the first donut.

that’s what I’m using right there 30 bucks at Home hardware. Haven’t found anything too bad about it yet. As for Nematodes, I try to innoculate my soil, with some from one of my wifes tropical trees. I bumped the container after watering one day and holy shit hundreds of them came to the surface briefly. So I think I have a natural community of them but transplanting and soil handling sure kicks the crap out of their numbers. I used 3 or 4 different bugs one year with added nematodes, it was fun to watch the war more than it was effective, but fun lol. I haven’t noticed any bad things about BT, but my eyes aren’t good enough to see nematodes, let alone spidermites and thrips LOL.

Potential mothers for outdoor season The bloom ready Dank Zappas, Gold Star snow lotus among with my stuff. Clones of the Danks and Snow Lotus cross Bloom room with oldest plants in week 7 (almost ready for a test smoke. Bud development. I’m still battling fungus gnats, but they are increasingly flightless, so a couple more weeks with the dunks in my rainwater. Sicns of Spider mites, but they are being sprayed with soap etc. I keep at the bloomers until week 2 or 3 then I have to live with them using only water spray, but numbers seem to be small and isolated. I’m not planting anything new so after about 10 weeks, Only outdoor will be happenin, so decontamination period will help long term keeping bad bug number down next year indoors. Having fun again with it feels good, gonna flood the local area with free clones, as the senior rebel growers have lost their supply chain to attrition and time. Free dank clones for seniors here. LOL.

I feel your insect pain. This winter has been BRUTAL.

F’ing Gnats and Thrips non-stop battle.

Everything looks great despite the bullshit your dealing with @Cannasaurusrex !

The real bullshit in my life is still what wifey and I shared with you when we had our plant exchange. I am tired of work, only 60, wife is retiring for now (breakdown) and my daughter quit her job of 14 years. We land rich and cash poor, so we are starting over, and changing things to restore our undaunted, ‘stroger when challenged’ positive outlook for the future, while remembering that evrything can be lost in the blink of an eye. Doing nothing is a choice I cannot take with our family. Growing is part of my normal life, I enjoy the challenge again. Zen and the art of pollen chucking, LOL Thanks for dropping in respected friend.
