Can temperature affect how well my clones root?

Definitely. Cold cuttings may never root. If the temperature at clone root level is under 65 degrees, you'll want to use a heating mat. Temps of around 75 to 80 are optimal.

Last year I moved into a new house and started my grow in a new environment. I have been cloning for many years using the bubbler method with a success rate of around 80%. I always use a heat mat or fish tank heater. The problem is that my clones will not root in the new house! I’ve cut probably 100.clones and only about 15 or 20 rooted…stem rot every time. Can anyone help? Maybe.there is something I’m doing different but not likely. Any help or advise will be appreciated.

Do or can you check the water temp? Probably to HOT. Also give us more details like pH and ppm.

Do you use h2O2?
