From head, to tip of tail he is between 26 and 27 inches long.
Looks way more like a Military than Scarlet crossed with the Blue and Gold.
That’s what my wife has come up with though I do not know if he is large medium or small…haha He is fantastic though.
Yes, the red on the nose and the general coloring would suggest the Military side.
I don’t see anything suggesting Scarlet Macaw in him.
he’s also got kind of a Johnny Cash slicked back pompadour hairdo going on…
or maybe I’m just reallly high…
Lmao brother
I’ll be sure to grab him some dapper Dan’s
I would be afraid he’d fly away ?
My yellow collar got away years ago
He is in free flight training. His wings are just slightly clipped…cause I was scared to death…lol. But, he is much like a dog…if he wants to tske a lap around the place, he is allowed. And usually finds me…and of course after he lands me, he gets a peanut. Its heart stopping at first…especially when I tried to use a “leash” at first…bad idea so when I was comfortable enough inside with him flying TO me for his treats, we went outside…and man it was scary. But, I wanted this bird to be part of our family, not just a display piece. So, we work on things everyday with him…he is going for his first car ride soon…in a very loud, thumping, camaro. I think he will be just fine.
This bird is a whip, and I swear he does understamd me…like all intelligent creatures, he can be moody at times though.
My yellow color macaw ( I miss him ) loved the car sat on my shoulder one time wile smoking a doob he grabbed it an stood on the steering wheel as we drove down the highway he was a great bird
Any pics of him?
I’ll look around he’s gone 38 years now
Absolutely adorable!
We are starting to look for a cockatiel…wife wants one.
ADORABLE little one.
