I learned that while waiting on renewal your old licence is still in effect, so the delay just gets you extra months.

I had that happen once. Now I read and reread and then get someone else to double check before I send it. I forgot a whole page.

I renew through the Lyte Clinic and send my rep a PDF of my renewal form for review before I then print it and send it to Ottawa

I also just filing my taxes - trying to for a week and keep getting an error. I thought the service was down. ended up being I had my wrong birth date in lol

I sent my renewal in July and nothing yet , I called two weeks ago and they said before they would just tell you it’s in process and that is all they could tell you , but now they say they can tell you that are looking/investing into peoples licenses for 4 different reasons and they can’t tell you witch one :
- diversion of cannabis,
2)perscription amount ,
3)checking to see if the doctor is involved in criminal activity,
4)criminal activity.
Then they say you can just keep growing and they will send the renewal out when they complete their investigation 
Well none of the above are applicable to me so it looks like it will just be a license extension lol.
But if you haven’t got your renewal in a couple of months I would think this is what is going on with yours .

Sending her renewal in today, Canada Postee can’t figure out tracking on the address for health canada papers, as it doesn’t have a street address. I’m trying to be discrete, showing her the website, giving right answers and getting a Zoloft ‘duuhhhhh’, as a solution. That pissed me right off. Fucking humiliating when your holding up the line. So when I get ‘the look’ from my daughter, I said outloud to the bewildered public servant, " We’ll figure it out for you" and left. Now, I get to do it alone tomorrow… MAILING 2.0 : The WannaHippie Strikes Back

Still waiting,called two weeks ago ,the guy on the other end said it was still on hold I asked again what were the reasons ,he said there are 4 reasons it could be held up ( they won’t tell you witch one)

- non compliance under cannabis act
- dosage amount
- prescriber /doctor under investigation
They tell you that you are still good to grow under your old license until the new one is sent out .
So I’m looking at it this way :
It can’t be #1 because I don’t sell , it is strictly for me and if they thought I was selling they most likely would of had the police stop by and I don’t think they would let you keep growing
Can’t be #2 as I’ve grown in the same location for the last few years and there have not been any issues in the past
If it was #3 they would have sent a letter for more info
So I’m guessing it’s #4 and they are looking into the doc , I’ve heard that it has happened before to other doctors and slows Things down .
I have a larger end license, but I only flower a few plants , I never know what I am Going to flower on the next run so I always cut 20-30 of each strain to make sure I have enough and can pick out the strongest plants out of the bunch and kill off the rest , also if I’m popping seeds I might pop 50 at once and look for the best one, so to be in compliance I need the higher plant count.
That’s where health Canada screwed up, your plant count should be based on what you will flower and plants in veg/clone/seeds shouldn’t matter . If it was only based on what’s in flower I would be down to 10-15g per day witch would make more sence

Just received my renewal as well and wash shocked at how quick it came compared to last year but nothing changed at all on the application.
