The 55,000 Canada Post workers represented by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) are on strike as of November 15 2024 - 12:01 a.m. EST (9:01 p.m. PST), the union says.
Also, Purolator workers won’t handle Canada Post packages during this strike.
I will say this, lets continue with Secret Santa 2024 and get all our packages ready for whenever the postal office are open again and we can actually send the packages, lets just hope this strike can be successfully resolved sooner then later this year.

I was going to pick up a pre paid box at canada post. Not now.
Would a courier be around the same rate to ship?

Lots of other couriers but Canada post has the best prices for in Canada shipping

Fall boxes, Christmas gifts. Canada Post really knows how to screw folks. Here I thought all they knew how to do was lose money.

Well my box for this year is completely finished & ready to go! Im gonna have to look into shipping methods outside of Canada Post, most likely gonna use UPS mostly cause I have delt with them before & know the package will arrive on time.
