I have gastroperesis, it literally looks like withdrawal from opiates, hot cold sweets, shaking, vomiting, can’t shit, laying in hot baths completely mitigates symptoms.
Weed is literally the only thing that works for it for me.

Interesting. Just the quick look didn’t sound like that at all, but what you are saying is EXACTLY it. I didn’t know about opiate withdrawal personally, but I’ll believe you on that.

Yeah matter of fact oddly enough gastroparesis is what led me to a clinical opiate addiction that spilled over into a black market addiction once I was quote unquote better. On top of a pelvic fracture but that’s a whole another can of one but yeah now interesting enough
As I’m reading about cannabis hyperemesis syndrome a little more gastroparesis is one of the like one of its secondary mechanisms.
Basically gastroparesis means low motility of the gut meaning food doesn’t digest it just sits there and sits there and it starts I can only assume start getting slightly septic or you have a very large abundance of digestive acids because the food’s not going anywhere.
This is how gastroparesis plays out for me every time when I get a flare up.
I have to empty my stomach completely by initiating vomiting by sticking my hand on my throat because you aren’t quite sick enough to really vomit usually it just hurts so fucking bad it’s like.
But after I get some food out and some stomach fluids for the end of the day or the next day I’ll puke up this extremely bright fluorescent green yellow bile that smells like a wet dog in literally as soon as that gets out of you you get flushed with a hot sweat and then immediately you’re better like it never happened like a light switch…
Weed is usually the only thing that works for me like all that stomach medication they give you in the hospital make it worse like there’s one they give you it’s supposed to relax your stomach muscles it makes it 10 times worse cuz it’s harder to throw up like you have to throw up to get that shit out of you

And then I’m reading that the hyperemesis syndrome is basically an oversaturation of your CB1 receptors in your digestive tract which act is anti-emetics. So when I’m reading above about the guy who was a 40 year old smoker who didn’t smoke much but got a batch and started vomiting from it and his case it couldn’t be an oversaturation a CB1 because he was absent for fucking a long time and just a gram or two a day shouldn’t oversaturate I mean come on think about how we used to smoke back in the face on the bus I mean shit sometimes I will go to a concert with 28 grams rolled up in one gram once and just take him to the face and nonstop I mean I know plenty of people who did this. And it very well could be that this homogenized cannabinoid modern hybrid shit that’s just all THC without the concert of other cannabinoids is a little out of balance.
Remember reading about how THC can actually kill you but you would never encounter such an imbalance of THC to its regulatory cannabinoids in the actual bud to ever have that problem so it’s ugly head because cannabis and itself was self-regulating and its effect because I had a concert of cannabinoids so when you have this homogenized single cannabinoid type of strain now it is indeed out of balance naturally and not what it normally would be so they’re very well could be some merit to this but I always take things like this with a grain of salt because the medical field and the powers that be want nothing more but the demon eyes cannabis regardless of its vast legality and ever-changing climate anybody gets a chance to fucking call weed the bad guy they will take it in spades

I get gastroparesis from edibles and big meal before bed, high probability trigger
I havent had chs symptoms since cutting dabs out, lowering my edible intake to every couple of days (as opposed to increasing dose as tolerance increases) smoking only flower and penjamin
When i had chs the most it was california dispo weed which does support pesticide argument
Now i get hawaii dispo weed and perhaps will attempt to try dabbing and see what happens, however i can say this, i got a doublepuff (holds 2 507 carts) and was using it religiously for 1.5 weeks (live rosin carts) and i was hitting both carts simultaneously (can choose left cart, right cart or both) obviously i had a sativa in one slot and indica in the other, and it got me so fucking high while playing vr that i had to lay down for an hour. No chs symptoms. I think the hawaii dispo weed aint got pesticides, on the wall there it says all this organic crap
And i want to point out that i used to have gluten intolerance (probably the american pesticides on grain) and got into baking sourdough, well if the ingredients are sourced correctly (organic) it causes no problems.

Scary stuff. I’ll throw out for anecdotal info that I’ve smoked and consumed edibles of high THC cannabis for 25 years now. I have a big dose of decarbed weed every evening in a smoothie. Hash and concentrates have been around the whole time for me too. I’ve never experienced anything at all like this. I’ve never actually been sick in my entire life either and have eaten healthy, but just figured I’d throw it out. Best of luck to anyone dealing with this!! Sorry you have to go through it.

Man, lots of prayers out to you suffering folks!! For real!
I got started down, the path, you riding myself, of as many chemicals we use in our daily life.
Margarine, I removed this garbage like 40 years now, once I found out our digestive systems, do not know how to process it, so it goes to gut sludge, gut sludge, kills off good bacto’s in the system. I had never heard of the Gut Biome, way back then, boy do I now!
Our daily spray of deodorant, that many seem to bath in, gone for decades now, and very simple salt, Thai Salt Stick, wet it, rub under arms, it kills off the bacteria that makes you smell. One time every other week, keeps me odor free…and my wife would definitely tell me, real harsh like LOL!
Dryer sheets, gone, they just encase us with that chemical stench, we suck in that off gassing garbage, wrap ourselves and children in it.
I can go on and on, about those type of items.
Not to speak of unseen industrial chemical pollutants, coming from factories, all ICE’s, air travel craft, spewing and coating every square inch of our beings, layers upon layers, of stuff you can not even see, or taste, but it is there.

Dude i feel for you. Opiate withdrawals is probably onebof the worse things a person can go through. The only symptom thats different is the not being able to have a bm, withdrawals will have you damn near living on or next to toliet(poo or puke).

We should be standing up for our freedoms, not folding Like a sheep. Cannabis use will not cancel you’re insurance. Almost sound’s like a lefties thing almost.
I can’t see hiding something that’s pretty much legal everywhere. Especially since the farm bill.

Sometimes i think politics gets confused with personal philosophies, certainly they overlap, and sometimes its the observer that steers things one way or the other. Its everyones job to steer the ship.

Ok, i meant that as an in general thing, and it was in hopes of steering it back towards the path.
The no politics thing is precarious and fragile, i think it needs to be protected by being more clearly outlined, since the lines can get blurry in the heat of the moment. Just a passing moment that shouldnt divide any of us too much, right? Back to the topic at hand.

It is not Legal at a Federal level and I would imagine any multi-state Insurers have an issue with it still due to how much risk it exposes them to on the back end.
Why get political with the “Sounds like a lefties thing almost” when this is a strictly non-political place.
