back on page 1 some one said i threw out OKIDS cut of banana thats not true at all, i never had the O KIDS cut of banana. never know how things like that get started.
i got the banana at f7 and just made more f-gens from there and at some point just stuck the IBL tag on them because i had made so many gens i figured it needed that tag.
very strange indeed …

Sorry for the late response, I had to put the Banana crosses on hold due to having to run some of my older seed before they got too old. I ran some Dominion’s Shineapple and most of Useful’s beans for reproduction purposes. Are you interested in the Banana crosses and if so are you within the states? I can possibly squeeze in a run in August if you’re interested. LMK.

I’ve been on the hunt for a banana trainwreck ever since I started growing again (4 years ago) because back in my teenage years that was my favorite strain. I’ve got the banana OG by (ORGN?) kid and a trainwreck cross (trainwreck x fruity pebble) from jaws but id love to find a pure trainwreck as well. I just remember a very sweet banana runtz and a fuel background. Jaws said he has one called slippery rails

no but i did just go back as far as my stock would allow me to and ran some f8 and made f9. those are whats at GLG right now if there are any left in there stock.

i have been during banana work for 2 decades, i remember way back when they were being sold at the mag as a week end special and i remember pushing that to happen really hard to the ppl in charge back then. those and the sfv and bubba were all released as week end specials back then.
i honestly wish i had never released any banana under the IBL tag those were not ready for that at all, even though i had made many many many f-gens i never isolated any phenol back then.
some of my banana work with the name sake in the actual name, i have several others with banana but with it in the name.

ya i like the banana kush/og and would have thought by now i would have had a really heavy banana phenol but to be honest i have only ran ito those a couple times over the years. the 60/40 is what ppl need if that’s what there looking for in this line.

@JAWS As far as I am aware it is the o kids cut. Recieved it thru a friend. I haven’t had the chance to flower it out yet but in veg no distinct banana smells. It’s on my list to grow out tho this year to try and make room in the mother tent for phenohunting. I’ll get with the the people I’ve passed it around to and my buddy I got it from to see what they say about it tho

yes very cool, been talking with o-kid and i know he still has interest in getting fresh banana seeds made, and i know he does have the 60/40 and will be looking though those as well. i just sent him a nice selection of jaws genetics as well.

ya when i run the banana next i’ll be going with some from the last ENTRY on that list. the a bit further up was done a few years back, might throw some of those in as well.
not sure when that will happen, still working on the cheese and still staying the line on trying more SKUNK stuff that i have over here.

@JAWS my buddy i got the cut from got back with me and said “Hey man! Yeah I was told it was the orgnkid cut, I got that years ago and I haven’t had it in a long time lol. I remember the terps were definitely like a sour banana / banana Runtz kind of thing.”

Another check in my other buddy who had had it for a few years as well said that “It’s been a couple years since I flowered her, but I distinctly remember the fresh banana terps on her flowers (not artificial/candy-like banana terps) - but she has no banana smell in veg.Strong terps too - you shouldn’t have to strain to smell the banana.”
