I donā€™t like Mike Adams from southern Indiana - this is not the first time Forbes has run this line of propaganda from him:

Although the cannabis plant seems relatively safe (Iā€™ve conducted decades of personal research to come to this conclusion) the world still knows very little about its efficacy as a medicine, its overall safety and whether or not there are certain circumstances in which it could lead to death.

This is absolute nonsense - I think we are now up to 20,000 studies on cannabis and cannabinoids in the last 20 years alone! The herb, its constituents, and the effects, have all been studied many times more than opiates or any other medication. That goes along with 10,000+ years of empirical experience. What an asshole

also personally insulting to people like Dr. Ethan Russo who decidated his professional career to cannabis 30-40 years ago. Iā€™m just pissed I canā€™t post a comment on this article

look at this bald, bearded dumbass:

Damn, so greater access to cannabis is irrelevant to rates of overdose deaths.

Yeah. So while Cannabis can be an effective opiate replacement, it doesnā€™t appear to be automatic, people have to decide to stop shooting up. Itā€™s looking like pure coincidence whether the correlation is good or bad.

The arrests that keep addicts locked up just long enough to reset their tolerance is probably the number one cause of overdose deaths. A person gets out after a couple weeks thinking they can still blow through three or four bags at once and they turn into another statistic. Another nightmare for another EMT crew.

Unfortunately this issue has been politicized to the point that discerning any objective truth will remain elusive.

any chronic pain patient can tell you about the difference between cannabis and opiates.

Good news! If Iā€™m reading correctly District of Columbia just got the go-ahead to open stores

Reform advocates secured another victory with the billā€™s passage: A provision that has blocked the District of Columbia from spending local taxpayer dollars to legalize and regulate cannabis was excluded from the legislation.

Arse backwards, as usual.
The sad thing is, this bloke will lose his house; because sure as shit the tax office is going to hit him for un-declared income.

:rofl::rofl: omg theyā€™re hilarious :joy: Iā€™m waiting on a case where someone isnā€™t having a panic attack and thinking theyā€™re dying rather than any real problems from the plant.

this looks suspicious as hell! considering whatā€™s going on right now in NY with legalization, and the players involved - pharma, Wall street, LEO, etcā€¦no video? How is that possibleā€¦doesnā€™t pass the sniff test

ā€œIā€™m concerned about our children, whether they be elementary, middle or high school children,ā€ Mayor Jeanette McCarthy said. ā€œThereā€™s all kinds of research that indicates that this is dangerous to their development.ā€

According to WBZā€™s Dr. Mallika Marshall, if a child consumes a large amount of marijuana through an edible form, it can cause difficulty breathing make the child lethargic and can lead to coma and in some cases death.
