Cannabis Current Events (Part 1)

That depends on the state of course. Licenses in NJ start with a $100 application fee, and can be staged at $100, $400 (application and conditional license), $100 and $400 (convert conditional to annual license) for a total of $1k for microbusiness application fees… And Social Equity actually prohibits people with over $200k on tax returns from applying, as well as prioritizes minority, veterans, and people with cannabis offenses on their records in the application process… IF they ever post the applications

NJ actually might not be so bad for the mom n pop side of things. Big Pharma has roots here of course, but licensing structure so far seems favorable to small $$ startups …

Hmm, NJ’s $100 non refundable doesn’t sound so bad for a change  lol

Thats the cap, it could be less. And there are waivers for small businesses.

There is 2 ways to interpretate those findings.

One, everyone was sensible and didn’t smoke and drive. I don’t think so.

Two, everyone was already smoking and driving a lot before legalization so it made no difference to the stats lol.

40 people have now OD’d on fentanyl from smoking “laced” weed! According the Connecticut police and the “public health” authority.

So the people OD’d, then told police they only smoked cannabis. There are only 2 people in the whole world who would believe them!!! 1) Their mother 2) the CT police.

overdose patients who have exhibited opioid overdose symptoms and required naloxone for revival. These patients denied any opioid use and claimed to have only smoked marijuana.

the most obvious explanation is that the patients falsely denied opioid use, which carries a stronger stigma than cannabis consumption.

stigma meaning being locked in a cage for months! yes, that tends to make people lie to police

South Dakota - that’s the state with the governor that loves talking about FREEDOM right? “medical freedom” is her biggest issue…right?

Smells like a desperate and bizarre effort at silly propaganda.
Flailing and sputtering.

slightly diferent story than Paul Revere and “one if by land and two if by sea”…but which story did they teach us in elementary school?

Smugglers brought in liquor from Canada through ships off our foreign registry shores. Three miles off the coast, they loaded liquor to smaller vessels that delivered it to our shores. New Hampshire citizens shared in this illegal activity, as rum runners would wait outside Hampton-Seabrook Harbor for a signal light from the Seabrook beach cupola and the old country store. A green light meant the bootleggers could proceed. A red light indicated that federal agents were in the area, and to not proceed.
