This should prompt the federal government to fully legalize it so that there is no longer a black market, but judging from history I am not so hopeful. They might attempt to do the opposite and shut down legal altogether.

Yes it should, but it may be more likely that they will attempt to resort to the “war on drugs” again.

Totally a real problem. I have totally poisoned the fuck out of my dogs by accident. When cbd first started becoming available I started giving some to my dogs because a trusted friend had been doing so because his dog had pain. My dogs loved them but my connect on clean cbd fell off. I decided to whip up some homemade treats for my dogs with some 1:1 cbd/thc bud. I think it was AC/DC outdoor. Gave my dogs some and they freaked the fuck out. Their whole bodies started shivering and convulsioning. They pulled thru but for a second there I thought I killed them. I guess dogs livers or kidneys shut down when dogs eat too much decarbed weed treats. Gotta be careful with thc and dogs. Don’t know if thc has ever completely killed a dog but it does fuck em up in a major way.
My dog is an odd one. She enjoys getting high, but edibles are too much and only hotboxing works for her on her own time. Otherwise I just buy CBD isolate with terpenes and my dog loves it. I mix in some MCT oil and wait until it’s fully dissolved.
