Not to burst any bubbles, but don’t think your gonna jump right into a head grower spot. Most people start as budtenders or trimmers and work up from there. If your lucky you can become an ASSistant grower for the head guy, basically you scrub pots and transplant all day every day… sounds fun, right?
Many people think they can chill and get high all day, not the case, its hard work. A million people “think” they want your job and the industry capitalizes on this fact.
I started as a trimmer in Colorado almost 7 years ago now and was a head grower of 2 dispensaries within 6 months… I have since left the industry and enjoy my life a lot more. Just my 2 cents ;]
