Looks great, I think minimal as well, but depends how much you like the background you did so well. One of the things with Bob, he paints over half his pictures when he gets to the fore ground. I never understand that.

Looks great kind of crosses over between tattoo style and comic book. I used to do a lot of tattoo style art on leather jackets.
Its interesting to look back and see ones progression. Yes I have a thing about Dragons and skulls lol.
This jacket is the first thing I ever painted.

He creates this happy world in his works one layer at a time. I think he just wants to know that his “happy little trees” are back there behind the forward layers just hanging out.
That is striking color in your work. I like Japanese art because the color is so vibrant. And the dragons of course.

I have watched his first series on netflix about 3 times now. I have tried some of his techniques, but oil takes so long to dry I get impatient to do the fine detail stuff, and it all turns into a muddy brown mess lol.

This is my first painting using his style. I normally paint in acrylic or water color. I have, more than anything else, done illustrations in ink and pencil. I got into the works of John Buscema when I was a kid reading the Conan the Barbarian series. My art took off from that style.

Depends on what it is representing as to whether it looks OK. If it pleases the eyes then yes its OK.

A puff and paint sounds like a great time, doesn’t get more cannabis inspired than that. My kind of relaxation. Excellent pics of the fun. Thank you for sharing, I’ve been to busy to create lately. I’m currently working on a hover bike race with Bigfoot(me), bobacupsolo(ReikoX) and the dude(fattyroots).
