I’ve seen some amazing art on here. You guys amaze me so much I decided to show the one I’m working on. I can’t make up my mind whether or not to make that foreground tree a dead, lightening blasted tree with a little sprout beside it or make it a living tree.
What do you guys think?
BTW This is my first attempt at using this technique. Some may recognize the Bob Ross style of oil painting.

@CADMAN no, not officially for Marvel (not yet anyway lol) but that’s the end goal.
There are a lot of comics now days that are sold with blank covers, only having the comic title printed on them, so artists can create their own covers by painting/drawing on them.
That is the bulk of my commissions work at the moment, blank cover painting.

I do designs/art work digitally myself, but not at your level.

I’ve always struggled with digital artwork, I occasionally use some free software to do colouring or touch ups of the traditional work I do.
There’s just so much to learn with digital, I feel like it’s beyond me now, would take years to get up to speed on it.

SOA, All my art, be it painting, carving or music, is now being inspired by my use of marijuana. I can see the difference, mainly in taking chances I wouldn’t normally try.
