Unfortunately…Goobers health took a sudden turn.
They believe the issue with the eye was an underlying cancer, that is now quickly spreading out of control.
Our daughter is heartbroken- as Goober is her baby…lives in her room…spends every possible minute with her for the last 12 years. She is inconsolable.
Goober will most likely leave us tomorrow…sucks- because today is not only Easter, it’s our daughters Birthday.

My deepest sympathies, Lady Z.
You probably already know this, but there are vets that will come to the house to perform the procedure. I find it’s worth the extra money given that they’re in the comfort of their own home with less stress.
Remember the good times, and take comfort in knowing that you gave Goober a great life

This was very unusual. This may be only the second time that Genki has ensconced himself onto my lap in the computer chair. He’s a very particular kinda guy. Couch, he’s totally good and a big yes to lapage. The chair is not so much like that at all. I had to document this. I wonder if this will become a new thing for him, computer chair lap in the morning. We’ll see.

So about 24 hours ago, Genki got up on my lap while I was in the computer chair, and I commented (a couple of posts up) about how unusual it was. I also wondered if it was the start of a trend. About an hour ago he shoved his way into my lap again. Three days will be the defining moment, but still I had to document this one!

Took a break and sat on the porch while the animals relaxed in the sand, lol … after running around a bit. But as you can see, this cat likes to hang with the dogs, no matter where they are! lol
