My 2 queens getting ready to make some feminized incross(?) seeds. Will be reversing my #10 onto my #2. These 2 have stood out head and shoulders above the rest. Heaviest bx3 phenos out 22 I started with.
I’ll continue to search for a bx3 male purely for preservation. But this is what I wanted when I started. Atleast 2 solid females I could use to combine and continue the bx3.
I dont know why people don’t utilize this feminized line breeding method. Maybe they do? But instead of selfing and bottleknecking the line ill be combining 2 completely different females. I really see no difference between this and using a male.
This is the second forum where I come across your work with and love for sour bubble but again I read your whole thread in one go. BOG has some incredible work he should be remembered for and working his genetics, making sure it doesn’t get lost is a beautiful way of honoring his work.
Thanks for sharing your passion for the plants, especially in sb bx3 types. The pairings with Franco’s slh and lemon G sound great and I hope you find something interesting in the Bubba kush s1’s to polinate.
That #10 definitely looks like the way forward, she should reward you with some interesting offspring next to being a keeper. Hopefully she smokes as good as she looks, enjoy
@DougDawson mentioned a small purple pheno he encountered in his co-op reproduction being special. Is anyone looking through her offspring to see what she has to offer? Could be a fun project
I agree, fem crosses seem like a better way to make fem seed imo. Selfing seems to just make plants that lack vigor ime, but then maybe they were all just indoor strains that were supposed to be tiny
Waked and baked with some tony green Sour Bubble this morning… feel kinda dreamy an hour or so later hehehe Might not have been a good choice for breakfast, she’s some strong smoke, but whatever… the sun is shining and it’s a wonderful day!!

Ya I didn’t keep cuts , got so many seeds to hunt thru of this strain.
I am finding the odd seed in my harvest so it’s not like that one went full blown hermie and I guess i spotted and picked off the nanners I did see and no more grew. In the end it didn’t seed my entire crop so it’s a win!! she smokes really nice too.
I was going to buy a pack of SB from Tony, but he did something I didn’t like (he posted a picture of my SB on his IG and then blocked me for telling him to at least mention me. Obviously he wanted to pass it off as his own picture).
I ended up not buying anything from him.
These are the first half of the second round selections. I have about 100+ 2008 F2s to search through. Ill be popping a handful each round until I get through them all.
