Chat room (let's chat!) šŸ’¬ (Part 1)

I do a shotgun approach. Instead of saying ā€œIā€™m going to run strain Xā€ I pop say 4 seeds of 4 different strains and I make selections based on the best ones and make my final decisions when they show male or female.

Some donā€™t make the cut.

I flower 4 plants at a time.

PPP seeds sent tracked to distributors and a number of other seeds heading for folks. Just because we are being quiet doesnt mean things are not still going out

Thanks @Shadey , I fired you off a tracking number and you should get them Friday if CP does its job right. The ones to Sebring will take longer but are also with CP now. Much appreciated.

These were from another member. If you were offering I appreciate it but I actually ended up with a pack of the Rainbow Ylly since so Iā€™m good on it. Definitely appreciate it though.

For me number one boils down to what strains I most want to smoke. Since joining OG a new factor is which of those strains was from an OG member so I can run it in a journal to thank them and let them know they arenā€™t sitting in a hoard getting dusty. And for my next run those two met with a third selling point that made them an easy choice which is what type of grow I want, in this case all autos. My next run is the perfect storm of those considerations.

You want to get more decisive? Run a long flowering strain and I bet you feel the calling of autos on your nest run

My Choco Thai is my first and long flowering and was crucial in my decision to go entirely auto next run.

And since I am a genius of incalculable measure I was stoned and had a friend over today when my alarm reminded me to turn off the light in the flowering tent. I dutifully rushed to my plantā€™s side and turned the light off and closed both tents. This was at 7. At 8:15 my brain returned just long enough to remind me that I had switched the CT to the LED tent for the day (the 18/6 light still on tent).

I expect my MENSA invitation any day now.

This arakku valley is the longest for me thus far , 14+ week flower .

Got me beat! Mine is 10-12 weeks according to the breeder. Not even terribly long but long enough that a nice batch of speedy autos will hit the spot.

I started my Ghost Rose after the CT was well into flower and itā€™s about done. I keep looking at the CT and saying ā€œwhy canā€™t you be more like your sister?!ā€.

I meant ask my postman to deliver em! But I would share anywayā€¦ We were just talking bout missing / long travelling seeds in the mail, and these were in the mailbox today

Been there and done that with bag seeds, ya donā€™t think Iā€™m looking at my autos that will be chopped tomorrow, and are gonna be 79 days, and thinking why donā€™t more people like em? 79 days since they hit the soil, and they look deliciousā€¦ The Cherry Brandy autos I am really lookin forward to. Plus I really wanna make an auto cross and have my own legit auto seeds. The Black Cream Crosses is definitely my first project.

I could do 3 runs before any flower strain I had in the past was finished with one run.

I really need a rich uncle to pass awayā€¦ LOL

OOF! dude, theres these neat things that take care of that for youā€¦ Timers  LOL

But so very worth the extra time cuz! I just had one CT clone I ranā€¦12 weeks, but nice in the end. I got 3 good mother CT out of some beans courtesy of @Guitarzan and just had to run at least one for ā€˜old times sakeā€™ lol

Gotcha. I was a bit confused there. Glad to hear yours got there though! The Cherry Brandy wasnā€™t my first choice but it was definitely on my radar. I got a strawberry strain the other day and wanted to get a cherry strain or two as well. Thinking it would be neat to do a chocolate cross with either in the future. Black Cream sounds awesome. The name alone is enticing but I just googled it and hell yeah!

I had timers but every one Iā€™ve put on my CMH this grow has messed up and either turned off randomly, not turned off, or in one case randomly came back on a few hours into dark. On the LED theyā€™re giving me no issues but the CMH has been so many issues this grow Iā€™m not chancing it.

I havenā€™t had CT in 20 years and I havenā€™t shut up about it since! Iā€™m excited as hell to have some again. Itā€™s worth the longer time and manually turning the light on and off. I might have to work out a trade with @Guitarzan for some more CT beansā€¦

How did it come out?

I have so many pics of all the stuff Iā€™m growing lol I didnā€™t take any of the CT since it was only that one, but it turned out very nice and frosty, smooth hitting, with a damn good buzz  :+1:
The yield was so-so but who cares!?

My yield with the CT so far is uh, well, excessive

I didnā€™t do anything to it other than let it go natural, it coulda been better if I had LST but didnā€™t really bother lol

Man, itā€™ll be awhile before I have any more of those. I got a pack as a freebie on a pre-order from Snowhigh, and Iā€™m gonna try and make some seeds from those when I get 'em, but it wonā€™t happen very fast.

Those buds look sweet man. :+1: :+1: :+1:
