I built a living room table and tried mixing paint with that style. Turned out pretty good. I canā€™t find a bigger pic atm. I think itā€™s on my old phone.

Kinda like a white wash

I like it, you did good job :slightly_smiling_face:

The whole ā€œwiped paintā€ technique scares me a bit. If I tried Iā€™d probably end up with a big mess lol

Yes exactly! I had first planned on doing it more colorful but it was a pain in the pants. Plus weā€™re always changing up the living room so I decided to keep it white. Lots of painting and sanding. If I sanded too much, more paint, more sanding. Finally I got tired of it and threw a clear coat over it lol

Sending some good vibes for yaā€¦

Looks REALLY nice!

Iā€™ll let ya know shortlyā€¦ Not so sure its gonna be easy popping seedsā€¦ But I hear ya, they are like my little kids and ya do get to be a proud parent! lol

anyone who is good with wiring electrical on?
I have a DPDT relay switch. can I wire two separate 110 on both poles or is that a good way to kill myself?

that seems like a DPST switch, dual pole, single throw. One trigger controls two outputsā€¦

DPDT has two on positions, and an off (think of a flip switch thats on - off - on)

If thats a dual pole relay, each leg should be isolated, passing only the current in that side, out to the other connection of the SAME side when activated.

Single Pole controls one circuit, a double pole controls two separate circuits within one product and so on. ā€¦ DPST again means it controls two separate circuits but it only has one On position. DPDT means it has two on positions and can be configured the same as a single pole can be.

@bunny do you make your own? At what ppm do you spray? I bought the 500ppm stuff I think. Hellraiser sprayed a whole clone lol with my autos, thatā€™s $10-15 a seed if it doesnā€™t work :woman_facepalming:. I havenā€™t practiced on anything so Iā€™m nervous about it lol itā€™s just my way. Iā€™ve heard of people making STS. But I havenā€™t looked into it. Apparently u can get all the ingredients for it off eBay :woman_shrugging: But I already spent $30 something for the cs so was going to give er a shot

Off the subjectā€¦ I have some photos that I flipped 16 days ago and they do not want to flower. Wtf. Iā€™m getting aggravated lol idk if itā€™s the jacks 321 or what. The autos I used the jacks on seemed to take forever to flip too. They just want to keep growing. Iā€™ve even slowly changed my ratio to (per 3 gal) 12.6jacks, 3epsom, 5.7calnit

If anyone has opinions on either subject, hit me w em. I love knowledge thatā€™s backed by experience. :joy:

I donā€™t get tripping over mail security. I used to have jwh and raw steroid powders shipped from china directly to my units mail room.

I bought my sodium thiosulfate and silver nitrate from the science company because thatā€™s the company Sebring talks about buying from in his tutorial. 10g silver nitrate and 500g sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate ran me $48 with tax and shipping

10g of silver nitrate is enough to make approximately 12.5L of spray and youā€™ll run out of that before the sodium thiosulfate. Itā€™s also the more expensive reagent of the two.

I would like to know about that stuff also. Iā€™ll see where a lot of people use Jackā€™s I just havenā€™t seen a good recipe. Or I havenā€™t seen a recipe yet. It is getting too expensive.

Thereā€™s people on here killing it with jacks 321
I just canā€™t remember 1 at the moment

Has anyone used their outdoor 18-8-23? I primarily grow outdoors and I would be interested in trying it since one 25-lb bag makes ~ 2700 gallons of feed and it looks like their epsom salt ratio in the feed schedule is 1g per gallon which would be 2.7 kg for the same volume of feed, and an 8-pound (3.62 kg) bag is only ~$8.

You have nothing to worry about other than they will most likely flag the addressā€™s they were sent to and from . I had this myself almost 15 years ago,but it was Canada customs , and I know of 3 others who have also received the US ones . I am not 100% certain as Iā€™ve been ā€œTOLDā€ this by a friend. I canā€™t believe they are still snatching them :man_facepalming:t2: worry about the damn heroine, fentanyl, carfentanyl etc. Itā€™s seeds FFS!

@Osogreen @GlassJoeGrows i am going to give jacks a shot in the new year, have seen consistently great things from 7-8 different people using basically only Jacks. Iā€™m definitely intrigued, seems much easier as well IMO

Iā€™ve used masterblend in hydro, basically the same thing as jacks. Works great.

Yes you can wire separate circuits on either pole and have a timer drive the coil that switches it on and off. We have done that many times at work (in a hospital complex) BUT we indicated SUPPLIED FROM TWO SOURCES. Otherwise a person in the future will come in and disconnect one circuit at the breaker panel and think the circuit is dead. You are always suppose to check for voltage before working on a circuit but if you do not know it is being fed by two circuits you will check on one side and miss the other. Not a good thing.

I made my own. The first time I made it too ā€˜thickā€™ and the ions clump together and made the solution cloudy. Basically painted the leaves with silver and they did not work all that well. Found out that if you take a laser and shine it through the solution and you can see the beam it is good. I have some hopefully making seeds now, will find out in a few weeks I guess.

I had some plants slow to flip, what are you going to do? Give me five years and I can give you a better answer.
