Godđ€Żthat looks terrible. The can doesnât hide the awfulness
It taste like what i imagine gasoline taste like lol @Trashcanman
Hitting the bottle early this morning?
I donât think this one falls in the âcheapâ category, like an MGD, but itâs not expensive like most craft brews. And itâs crazy good.
Good enough to please the beer snobs, but ordinary enough that almost everyone seems to like it.
Thatâs a new one to me. At 6+% abv is it a little umâŠmalt liquor tasting?
Wasnât smokey and the bandit all about getting a truck load of Coors? Also there were lots of country songs about Coors in the 80s. I was just a kid but I have found memories of those days.
No. Itâs very clean and crisp tasting. Like a typical Pilsner or pale ale, just elevated up to saintly status.
We drank a lot of Milwaukee Best, Keystone light, and Miller Highlife in my drinking days. Back in 2000 I could buy a case of natty or the beast for 7 bucks a case at Walmart.
Those were the days. I think my first beer was Milwaukeeâs Best Light
My favorite beers are irish red and amber ales. Killianâs Irish Red is a really good beer for its price.
Bass Ale is always my choice for a cheap beer on tap.
Asahi Super Dry is truly excellent, and tall boys are reasonably priced. When I used to go to 2 or 3 day long hippy festivals, this is what I would drink all day and night.
Tiger Lager from Singapore is also a good one for asian beer.
For mexican beers, Bohemia is the king.
Oh fuck ya Dales pale ale is one of my favorite pale ales!
Ok who here loves tomato juice in beer? I was looking at the KILLIANS and use to drink that as a double red! Good beer in itself !
Haha I do. I actually just spent like 15 minutes typing up a recipe for Micheladas.
Here is an authentic recipe for a Michelada (mexican beer cocktail)
freeze a pint glass or mug until it is ice cold and frosty.
Squeeze 2 or 3 limes.
Mix salt and red chili powder together.
Dip the rims of the glasses in your lime juice, and then salt the rims with your salt and chili powder mix.
In a large pitcher, mix 3 or more bottles of cold mexican beer and a bottle of clam juice (trust me on this).
Add the remaining lime juice.
Add a few generous dashes of mexican hot sauce, ie valentina, cholula, or tapatillo.
Top off with a little bit of tomato juice. You want the color to be red, but you donât want to add so much tomato juice that it thickens the beer. Use equal or less than the amount of clam juice.
Pour into glasses and serve. This is surprisingly good, and extremely refreshing.
Adjust the ratios in this recipe according to your taste, you can use less clam juice, more tomato, extra hot sauce, whatever suits you.
I never tried or heard of any of those @zephyr . Ima have to give one a try next time I decide to drink a brew. Im always down to try new beer.
I been drinking these when I feel thirsty. They are from a local brewing company. Hands down my favorite flavor and buzz.
Damn thatâs high alcohol ! Howâs the taste ? Never seen that one before but will keep an eye out for it! Lol
Tried that dry mix in the styrofoam You see in liquor stores Couldnât stomach it maybe Iâll give the homemade version a try !
That actually sounds pretty good !
Iâll bet that good as well being a home brewer years ago I stumbled in some some micros that use the citra hop rather refreshing and a good flavor and aroma hop as well! That hop may be bred with cascade not sure though a good grapefruit type of taste so gross sounding but good!
yeah the michelada mixes and pre-made âbud light cheladaâ cans always look dubious.
Iâll stick with the classic homemade version haha.
With all this talk guess I better show my cheap everyday drinking beer ! Lol I usually drink it red , it almost taste like the Old Herman Josephâs put out years ago!
But I guess itâs still available only at location
Looks like I need to go see a BB game In Denver and check out the sandlot!
@Blowingupjake, @argo945, @lefthandseeds, @nube, @GMan , you guys down?
So at my liquor store I pick up like a 30 pack for like 18$ with tax itâs like 21-22 not bad IMO
