Chez Calix - Journey of a Junior grower

Looking good ! Few white spots on em!!

Flower tent is doing great

Well

2/3 are getting super stretch and bushy. Raised the light.

One has not recovered from transplant and root pruning. doesnt look well.

I don’t want to risk it herming and ruining my two solid girls…

It’s a tester fem from a friend.

I am putting it back into VEG tent now to see if it recovers.

Im happy with giving my two girls extra space.

Now back in veg town

Plus some pics of clones trying there best to throw roots.

Wahhooooo look at me go

Only took 3 years LOL…

@JoeCrowe - we did it !!!.. I think!!

Definitely the best attempts at cloning so far@

Should I continue to let them grow more roots?

I did hear some people put in soil at first sight…

I guess I worry they could ROT or succumb to infection.

Should I change the water ?

And then my 2 flowering plants are doing heavenly

Congratulations! I’d toss the rotted clones and put a few drops of nutrient in the water if you haven’t already. I usually wait until they start growing before I plant them in the soil. If you want to plant them asap, remember to put a bag over them or dome. The roots probably aren’t big enough to support the plants life yet.

Haha@@ a bit eager I am!

I am not set up yet to plant them and dome them.

So I will wait.

Will squeeze a drop or nutrients in there also!

Thanks

Have a good weekend

Okay thanks!

Il get to the grow store tomorrow @

After i plant a rooted cut-

How long does it take for it to begin being a plant…hahaha. growing as a plant .

And this is when I put in a dome ? In a rapid starter cube or jiffy pellet??

I would like to try many small :potted_plant:

I wil get a tray and Dome cover tomorrow.

Do you recommend a heat mat for the little ones also?

Check this out!!

Also. I took cuts today of the 1/5 molokai citrus kush from @Barefrog

Hopefully they root as well.

I will have to flip the ol girl also when I notice some roots

These are my two in flower.

Still growing .

Do I get a heat mat and a dome for a grow tray/table for when its time???

I just plant them once they can support their own growth with a good root ball. No dome or mat needed.

Thank you!

I am wishing for the best !

I just have to keep feeding and watering and hope for the best!!!

Hasn’t been any signs of being too cold over night.

They seem to be doing okay.

The one on left has has some light colored leafs since before flower.

Thought they might grow out of it. But nope. They are almost transparent in some leafs…

I will have to get some closer Photos !

Appreciate your post fully

Sick as a dog here with the covid.

Haven’t been in garden in days…managed to give some water / feed yestedsh…quick an sloppy.

Just got some pics.

Cuts are rooting…

I never thought about the process after they root* @JoeCrowe . . . I put one in soil that had a lot of roots… guessing it might take a bit to show plant life

I took cuts of a plant that was In flower for 2 weeks. They are already rooting !

Check out the garden regardless.

gg4 on left .
GDP on right.

I donno how much i like this cloning game compared to seeds…

I once again…have too much shit going on…

Losing track of cuts / labels…

I have a pretty good idea of what’s what…

Im going to have trouble making the transition from roots to soil…

The one I tried is lookin miserable …

By the time they root - the cut looks dead and yellow…I’m just having a hard time believing its going to transition into a plant

Note for personal reference

ooo yah I had the COVE too, but it was just a runny nose for a day. I got off lucky! woot! The cuts will look haggard sometimes, before hitting grow. If they wilt after transplant, put a bag or dome over them for a few days. I’m just putting some cuttings into hydro that have been in the clone machine for too long. They are doing great! Just look a little spent.

That’s so cool!

I have to look into hydroponics!

So shouldn’t the cuts in clone machine start to grow as plants ??

How does It differ from a hydro set up??? Lol

Ugh… yea this is the first time we have ever tested + for covid .
Not sure if it’s going to get worse.

I woke up 4am with a pounding head ache head on fire. Took two tylonal an went back to bed. Was up all morning feeling like a bad flu .
Soup all day . Coughing up shit. Now my Nasal passage feel like there on fire. Every time I cough my head hurts . Luckily no work scheduled :relieved:

Thx for listening !!!
