I go with light and airy soil I just toss in the pot and water. I don’t tamp it down or anything.

Been running lights at 75%(few days) after i noticed one fox tail and some yellow hair so pushing out
Over fed maybe too much light. (Nitrogen)
Anyway .

ALso noticing purple on all so maybe a bit Cold on roots and over night. But only started now , no changes in temps entire grow.

been 44 days since bloom started? Do you have some kind of magnifying lens? Also give them a good sniff, I find the smell evolves over time like a ripe fruit, you can tell by the stink.

I was getting a great deal of foxtailing with my LEDs with the old tent that was 60 inches high my new tent at 80 inches high allows more room between the white less heat and more or air circulation

I have a usb microscope.
I think flipped may 01 for 3 of them. Alien og and nut butter a week later , I’ll double check dates. But sounds right what you said

I know the paint cans as risers are cringe lol. I realised after I could have used a upside down plastic Pot maybe. But they were handy and got the canopy level .

If letting it “cook” I’d make sure that it stays moist with the cover on…it doesn’t need a lot of heat as the microbes are what’s doing the “cooking”…breaking down the nutrients into a usable form for the plants…

EDIT: looking at your ingredients list there isn’t much in the way of nutrients….that soil mix should be ready to use now…sorry didn’t see above post…

I can’t answer that bro as I’ve no idea. When I’m done with soil I just dump it and buy more. My garden level raises by about an inch each year

I’m going to use an all-purpose 444 fertilizer and then I’ve also got Remo nutrients liquid salt based .
Probably don’t need to cook it just wondering about storing probably keep it in my garage with the lid on

I’ve got a lot to learn but after reading about everything on this site about organic soil and composting I’m really itching to try. I’d really like to know what I can start keeping from my kitchen scraps to start a compost. Literally just get a bin and throw all kitchen scraps in there from vegetables?

Just up potted 7 plants an changed the soil in 6 cups for better .
Had to boot two plants. Might just have to put the into flower tent
Big clean up before the wife gets home in 25 minutes and I have to go pick her up so that gives me about 6 minutes to shop vack the whole house

If they don’t start taking to this new soil it’s clearly user error . Lol
I made lots more holes in cups .cut out triangles Alo throughout so it can dry out & dumpedthem out. N looked at rootsand re potted with new soil mix.
Will be interesting for sure. They were growing . Just slow. I think my air flow was non existent . Didn’t want to vent All the heat out .

I mix it about 10% worm castings and then sprinkle the gia green 4 4 4 on top on the soil.

Didn’t change much colour of the promix…
And mixed the Gaia straight in not top dress . Woops!

Been back to work this week, LITFA works very well.
Buds swelling up and looks like trichs maturing. Tops of buds, lower down still white mostly !!
Might get the scope out…have to download a app for it. Got To look it up ever harvest because I usually have a New phone every 3- 5months lol
The smell is there for sure now
