I’ve only successfully rooted one clone. Out of maybe 24+ attempts.
No Patience was my biggest issue In the past .
I will be going the bubbled water route the next time I try rooting the cuts
However I have a few seeds I really am interested in growing…
However I do need to get the cloning down
I’ve had a top I cut and put in water in 12/12 Close on 2 weeks now and no roots … or sex parts lol
My eyes are pretty bad apparently lol I see resemblance to split hairs on some

Nice buds how’s she smell? Everything I’ve grew of shit seeds has been super sticky . Had to wash my phone in isopropyl after trimming nurse peanut .
Wasn’t really paying attention to the smell but it was a strong chemically smell , very sticky

Should clones be under 24/0?
That’s 18/6 if you are using 24 hour clock. The trick is to subtract 2 from 18 drop the 1 so that’s 630pm to 1230pm. The bubbles in your cups will eliminate the need to change the water out on a daily basis. Should also improve rooting percentage!

how big should I let the roots get?
They aren’t looking the happiest .I changed water twice
heh heh I’m not convinced those are roots quite yet, but the cuts are still looking good. I usually let the roots grow until the plant starts to grow, but you can put them in a dome if they start to wilt due to not having enough roots yet.

It was a nice surprise for me after a long weeks work.

I have had a top in water for 3 weeks and no root sign and it looks like its in great condition. …these cuts are looking a little haggard - But the bottoms are showing some activity lol
Full disclosure, i haven’t done any successful cloning yet…
But the statistics suggest it’s better to wait until the wound is fully healed or there’s a chance it might get infected (or something like that)…

I also didn’t finish trimming the g13 however it was dry and for some reason I vacuum sealed it LOL it’s going to be hard to get the leaves off now but damn is it sticky.
