I took cuttings from both Goji x LT and Strawberry Goji ladies last night. I also have a male Goji Raz x Lemon Thai in veg. I might try my hand at a few f2s if the cuttings root.

Pura Vida f2 from @nube smoke report:

I grew out two of these a few months back. Both phenos were easy growers and really did well in my less than perfect environment. Both plants have a very heavy kush/cologne taste. Number 2 (right) has a slight sweet creamy flavor that transitions to a chemical mouth coating at the end of exhale from my vaporizer. The effects from both plants are reasonably functional with a gentle stone that starts with a introspective or presence expanding mind space. This is followed by a gentle heaviness throughout the body. It has enough body effect to clearly recognize, but doesn’t put me into the couch. If utilized later in the evening I find that the lights start going out a little earlier than anticipated, with a comfortable drift into sleep. The potency is around average and perhaps slightly above, but a little deceiving because it tends to be a bit of a creeper. More than once I decided that I might take one more puff to get a little more lifted only to realize I was higher than I thought a couple minutes later. Great work on these @nube it’s a nice line to have the opportunity to explore.

Awesome work man! The Pura Vida does have that nice sweet and creamy flavor and smell to it. I’m missing the keeper I found in the F2s from nube, it had such pleasant high. Great results!

What’s next on the grow menu?

I’ve got two of @Doc.D ’s Goji Raz x Lemon Thai’s in flower, a Strawberry Goji from Bodhi and a new pheno of Blue Ripper reproduction from SSgrower. I have cuts rooting of the Doc and Bodhi stuff and a second Strawberry Goji in veg. I’m planning to pop a few beans for the next round soon and considering @nube ‘s Good Medicine or the Dank Zappa made by @Torontoke .

Nice, I have a pack of Goji Razz x Dragon Energy that I’ve been wanting to get to. That strawberry Goji sounds pretty good! Keep us updated… Those Dank Zappa’s seems to be a winner, everyone I’ve seen grow them gets big chonky buds… can’t go wrong there! Happy growing!

Here are the ladies on day 15 post flip. Everyone is pretty happy. Strawberry goji was showing some chlorosis that looked like mag deficiency to me. She has responded nicely to foliar epsom. I’ve been spritzing the top of the soil with a few sprays on occasion as well.

Top dressed the flowering plants (day 19) as well as the two vegging plants. I also sent a few Dank Zappa f2s for a swim to explore for the next round.

Here is Strawberry Goji, she’s looking the frostiest of the group, she smells of Sharpies and Lemons. Unfortunately I did find a couple of intersex parts in her lower interior bud sites. She has showed some signs of stress, she was Mg deficient right around flip time and has seemed to have a little higher nutrient demand than the rest of the tent. I’m keeping her and keeping an eye on her at this point. I do have another female Strawberry Goji, so I’m not too disappointed that her clone didn’t make it.

Goji Raz x Lemon Thai is a beast, she has good frost and is putting on nice chunky buds, She smells of tart berries and lemon with some sharp and astringent notes. I have a clone of her and will likely make a few f2s and perhaps hold for a second run.

Goji Raz x Lemon Thai #2 has been showing a bit of clawing since I top dressed a few weeks ago. She seems to prefer a lighter feeding. She’s taking it well though. I have not seen any intersex from her and she’s putting on decent frost and bud development. She smells of sweet fruity berry candy with some sweeter lemon notes and perhaps some cleaner.

Blue Ripper Tribute #2 is coming along, she is putting a lot of smaller bud sites on. She had really nice frost coming in and is the most compact plant in the garden. She has a sharp fizzy lemon-lime soda scent.

Those all look really nice. I’m fantasizing about those sharpie and lemon smells :sunglasses:

Here is the most obvious male flower I plucked off of Strawberry Goji. I plucked three obvious male parts and did some cleaning up of the underside of the plant.

I never mentioned that I did purchase the Controller 67. Unfortunately I have an older S4 model that is not compatible. Trying to decide if I should upgrade fan or send it back and get an inkbird.

nube turned me on to that inkbird humidity controller thing a while back, I use it in my drying area and that thing was a friggin’ gawdsend. Totally changed and improved my drying process. It’s kind of weird programming it (the instructions are written by somebody who’s first language is clearly not English haha), but I love it.

Like trying to navigate a maze blind. But yes it’s my go to when the ac infinities are in use elsewhere.

I just flipped the next round. I will update about the end of my last round here shortly. I have two of a second pheno of Strawberry Goji and a cut of the #1 pheno of Goji x LT. Along with a couple unsexed Dank Zappa f2 from @Chronickyle .

Here is my question. I’ve had the Goji x LT male sitting in a quart dairy container for months, hungry and chronically under watered. He hasn’t thrown pistols that I’ve seen, but he has developed many near mature male clusters. I’ve been considering dusting a branch of the GojixLT and perhaps a branch or two on one of the Strawberry Goji for a few beans to play with. In addition to the male being at near full flowering in spite of just flipping. I did have late anthers on that Goji x LT when grown from seed. I think I may have had a light leak issue that I didn’t catch last round and ended up finding at least a couple hermie parts on each plant in flower.

So, is it worth it to isolate this guy and do a controlled dusting, or should I wait until I revisit the rest of the pack in hopes of finding better parent stock?

I think it’ll be fun but ultimately it’s up to you. Seems like you really pushed him to his limit and he performed well. If you do it, the only way to know how good it is or if they have instability would be to test them out. :green_heart:
