As far as growing out the cross of Hawaiin lites F2 x Triple Sunshine F2 no. Those seeds are still drying with its mother plant in my grow tent. I pollinated the three Hawaiian Lites F2 I had making an F3 seed, Solar Halo seed (the cross mentioned above), and Pahoa Bicycle Ride which was Hawaiian Lites F2 x BOG LSD.
I plan to grow the two new crosses in their female state to get idea olbefore I start passing them around here on OG. Here is a grow log of their parent plants. My only issue with the HLs was the branches needed support during late flower.
That’s absolutely robbery . Typical Dutch BS…never met money they didn’t covet . Sponsored vendors here on OG have seeds as cheap as $ 1-2 USD each . FWIW Johnny Potseed’s Hall of Genetics is having a sale until end of the year . Straight up no BS genetics , extremely affordable , prompt service & will ship damn near everywhere .
I go by breeder over anything. If you can trust their judgement, theyll usually not disappoint. I gotta do another vote for Bodhi over just about anyone. His work is hard to beat. Other breeders I really enjoy are CSI Humbolt, Cannarado, Chemma Labs, 707 Seedbank. Theres a lot more, but those are ones that consistently impress me personally.
Overgrow is the bodhi and csi capital haha… There are tons of good breeders and genetics out there man you just have to look around. Expensive does not equate to quality either so keep that in mind. I’m currently running a few from dimebag seeds which are obviously $10 packs and some of the best genetics I’ve come across in a long time. Some of these $200 and $300 packs of a few feminized seeds just don’t interest me at all. Here’s my peach parfait female late flower
Reputation is key. Some of my best grows have been free beans from people on this site, reputable persons that I was happy to roll the dice & see how the plants would come out. … I have yet to be disappointed
On the flipside of that, I’ve paid for beans from decently reputable macro-breeders with lesser results than the free forum-chuck beans
Always check reviews on multiple platforms for not only the breeder/chucker, but the strain AND its parent strains. You’ll find some real gems, the more you dig.
In Todays market that’s a tough question haha
I mostly go on my past… what I smoked 20 years ago and what has become from those cuts and genetics and try to follow up
From there I branch to others but in that same segment
You need to read a lot and also grow a lot just to get a sense and understanding of everything so when you’ll see a plant you can instantly recognize it or know if the smoke will be something your after
Other than that don’t sweat it, most of it is a shot in da dark as it is, just grow on
