Coming soon to hoppiefrog2020 s page on i.g. aseptic tissue culture videos with professional guidance

Alright got the green light on setting up a aseptic tissue lab, also we found a professor to give us hands on lessons and she will set us up with our first round of cultures and show us how to propagate straight from said cultures. Woot woot clean and serine every time.
We will be recording all and posting the series straight to hoppiefrog2020 on i.g…first we have to set up a clean space upstairs in our second kitchen.i will also be collecting back some old classics from our past 15 years of strain hunting, clean em up and breath new life into them.
So even if you have a hlv or molded cut you wanna send that will be no issue in the future.exciting potential, now we really can have them all

I have been instructed to set up the clean space just like how I used to set up for inoculating spores and making spore prints, so this is nothing new to me. The best sterilization product I have found to date is still the prokure g packs. This will allow us to sterilize all the nooks and crannies to perfection, first we will have to seal all the openings we can’t get at and then we can seal the room and space outside the door for pre sterilization. Next we will do a wipe down of all surfaces using peroxide ,then we will use the hydrofogger to fog the entire space with 5% hydrogen peroxide. We will have a heppa filter and fan set up on the window to create positive air pressure with heppa filtered air. Then just before our first session I will use the prokure g pack to do the final sterilization process. The trick here is to be very thorough it’s not overkill trust me it’s necessary. Also shower before entering using batadine and put on a lab suit after entering the pre sterilization chamber. Lots of little details ,it will take me a bit to remember them all it’s been a couple decades since I did up a culture or even a print for that fact

Of course actual sergical gloves (the type that come in the paper envelopes that are easy to slide your hands into without touching) they are super easy to open as well. These style gloves are a must even with a helper on hand they are intended for actual surgery and are perfectly steril unlike boxed gloves

We will have to get a materials list and make a order over the next few weeks as we prepare and collect funds and cuts
